Dr. Richard Sheets, DO

It was my first time having this procedure and could not have asked for better care. The entire staff was very caring, patient and explained everything to me step by step. Dr. Sheets was very professional and spoke to me in simple terms, answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable about the procedure. Quite honestly, the whole process felt like I took the best nap in years! When I woke up I felt no discomfort at all. I definitely recommend Dr. Sheets and the entire staff for this procedure.

I was very nervous but from the doctor, anesthesiologist, first nurse who took my vitals to the discharge nurse, everyone was professional, nice and made me feel calm. I have no complaints and would go back again if needed.

I had very bad experience with Dr. Sheets. I was at Hospital with internal bleeding. Dr. Sheets and nurse did procedure without my consent, any explanation and proper sedation. Procedure DID NOT stop bleeding. Put me in pain for nothing and gave me PTSD. Received big bill from him. Stay away from this "doctor".

HORRIBLE DOCTOR. INCONSIDERATE. Got a 2nd opinion and I was suffering from diverticulitis, not anorexia. Saw him 1st at his office and then was rushed to the ED. He was the on call GI doctor that night and refused to answer any of my questions. Had to stay at Riverside for 3 days for infection, low potassium, and anemia. I had IV drips in both arms.

After waiting an hour at my post-op appointment 5 weeks after a diagnostic procedure, Dr. Sheets came in to tell me my results were not in the office. Promised to call me later in the day.* With no results in hand, Dr. Sheets suggested that maybe I just need a "good stiff shot of whiskey" to help with my chronic esophogeal pain; perhaps just get my "head on straight." *No call - ever. Dr. sent me a three-sentence email over a week later with a lame apology for the delay.
