Dr. Richard Tidwell, MD

We love Dr. Tidwell because he listens and cares. He is not pushy and he generally cares about you from the top of your head to the soles of your feet. I have been treated horribly in the past by some Doctors and never really trusted anyone until I met him. He is a Christian man and that makes a world of difference. We trust all of his judgments! We are Thankful to God for this Doctor.

As a rule, I don't like Doctors. I don't trust them and it takes a really awesome one to get anywhere with me. Dr. Tidwell is one such Dr. I trust him completely!! Awesome exam/chair/bedside manner. He never PUSHES anything onto you and always listens to what you have to say because he's one Dr that gets that you actually know YOUR body better than anyone else. He can also "scold" you without really getting on to you and coming across in a condemning and demeaning manner. You don't actually feel scolded but that he is genuinely concerned for your health and well being. He also knows when to joke around and laugh about things AND he's an OU fan to boot. Let's put it this way, not only would and do I put my life in his hands but I have and do put the life of my child in his hands. He's an overall great family physician and someone I would recommend. And coming from me, that's a biggie.

Personable, kind, caring, and compassionate. A good family doctor.
