I recently herniated a disc in my lower back. His level of care and concern for my pain was above and beyond the typical. He helped my correct some aggravating factors helped manage my pain and now I’m fully functional again thanks to Dr. Weiss. Not only a true professional but compassionate as they come. Thank you Doc for everything

To date I have been treated by Dr Weiss for several injuries and conditions . My experience has always been positive and I'm completely satisfied with his diagnosis and treatment . Dr Weiss always listens to my concerns and symptoms - never rushes me in and out the door -takes ample time to fully explain my condition as well as his recommendations for treatment . I am very confident with Dr Weiss and would highly recomend him .

I have been a patient of Dr Weiss for several years . From my experience , Dr Weiss has always been spot on accurate with his diagnosis , treatment and results. His office is very clean, private and professional - not your typical health care 'factory' where you are just another chart walking in and out the door. I would definitely recommend Dr Weiss to anyone seeking an orthopedic doctor.

Went to Dr. Weiss 5 years ago for a rotator cuff injury. At that time, he was located at St. Cats and as I recall, he was a very friendly, articulate and caring fellow who had me back to my old self in a short time. So, after 5 painless years passed and a flare up of the old injury occurred, I went to see him at his new location. The wait was very short and there was no sense of being herded in and out the door as I’ve experienced at most doctors offices. A good experience overall. Recommended!

I have been a patient of Dr. Richard Weiss for ten years . . . in that time he has been my go-to orthopedic specialist because of his extensive knowledge of sports injuries and repair. He takes the time to listen to you, answer any and all of your questions, and cares enough to do so in a relaxed and likeable manner. He treats you very professionally, and with kindness.

Being a NCAA Division 1 athlete it is imperative that I receive the best medical care available. I have been with Dr Weiss since before he opened his own practice in 2015. I really appreciate his honesty, due diligence and thorough explanations. I have been to him for hip, knee and shoulder injuries. Anytime I do have a problem, Dr Weiss is my first call.

As a new patient of Dr. Weiss, the staff went above and beyond to help me get an appointment with his full schedule. I needed a night or weekend and was able to get in last minute. The patients waiting in waiting room were talking to the staff who were so friendly . The office is beautiful and clean and Dr. Weiss spent extra time with me to get to the root of my leg pain.

Dr. Weiss is a wonderful doctor who truly cares about my recovery & my process. For me he used the least invasive methods & did not rush me into surgery, as many would prefer to do. He is a brilliant doctor who gives his best to his patients. I was most impressed with his explanation & desire for me to fully understand the issues pertaining to my individual injuries & my recovery. His office staff is excellent, always willing to assist with the medical claims & documentation needed.

The worst doctor I've ever HAD to see. He's an IME puppet. Writes reports before seeing patients. Reports are full of lies and inaccuracies. He writes what he wants to in order to continue getting paid. He does not provide an INDEPENDENT medial exam as required. Never wrote down any calculations, dozens of which ironically appeared in his report. Failed to even report that I require brace and crutches to ambulate. Cited that he examined the skin of body parts when I never even removed clothing.

My son had been a patient of Dr. Weiss back when he was in a group practice located at St Catherine's Hospital. We have only been to his new office once & will not go back. Dr. Weiss wrote a prescription for my son to have an MRI on 4/22/2016 and it is now 6/29/2016 and we still have not received the necessary authorization. Oxford is telling me the office has not even requested an authorization meanwhile his staff is blaming the insurance company. Now I have to start all over with a new doctor.

My initial appointment and exam went fine and he had saw my right Xray report. I complained about my left shoulder also and he gave me scripts for an Xray and MRIs of both shoulders. I left a message on his office answering machine that I needed a referral for the 2 shoulder MRIs but then heard nothing back. I called 2 more times and never a response back. I finally gave up as either he lost interest or his office help is inadequate (maybe both). I guess I was also abandoned...

I saw this doctor for a no fault case and was examined for 2-3 minutes and with his magic eyes he determined my injuries were cured, Cat scans , MRI's three other doctors treating me, me telling him the pain was excruciating and still he writes elbow shoulder has full range, this for nerve pain which would not affect range, he must see 15-20 people an hour If you go to see him bring a video camera and a person to tape it, a mistake I made, I trusted him to do the right thing something he did no

The doctor could not concentrate on my appointment with him. Too busy worrying about the pictures in his office and his flowers. The staff has no idea what they are doing, I don't get a call back and they are very unfriendly. Would not recommend him or his office. They've cancelled my appointment many times. I won't go back.
