Dr. Took made sure I understood why each picture or exam was recommended, and explained the results of each. He took time to explain possible diagnoses and his reasoning for care. He is friendly, personable, and so are his staff. I don't recall waiting any longer than on average at a doctor's office.

Have been going to Dr. Yook for over 15 yrs. Office staff is great, and he is kind and thoughtful besides being professional and helpful. I take my prescriptions to Costco as frames and lenses are less expensive there. That makes no difference to his office.

The cons - Be prepared to spend at least an hour for your appointment. They must double book or book every 5 - 10 minutes. After a long wait - eye drops are given and another long wait as all rooms are full. You’ll spend about 5 minutes with the dr. I did not get surgery results expected. Pros - office staff is very friendly.

This has been the best eye glass prescription I have ever had in 5o years of wearing glasses. The staff is outstanding and the office has great parking and a convenient location.

As a caregiver, I took my patient with an obvious eye infection to see her Opthomologist, Dr. yook. He performed her eye exam WITHOUT exam gloves! She did have an infection (like pink eye...very contageous), yet he did not think to wear gloves? Additionally, the antibiotic he prescribed noted to apply to the left eye, when her infection was in the right eye. I cannot recommend this doctor.

As a fellow physician and surgeon, I can unreservedly say that Dr. Yook is an excellent surgeon. He is gentle, caring, a humanitarian, trustworthy, and has very excellent training. He is well known as an excellent cataract surgeon, both by his patients and the nurses who work with him in surgery. His office staff is professional and kind. Dr. Yook takes ample time with each patient and never rushes during their examinations or discussions about their care.
