Dr. Rick Hirsch, DO

Been seeing him since Dr Roth departed . Dr Hirsh is a very good Dr and cares about is clients .

I have been seeing him for 5 years now since he took over my other doctor's practice. Excellent care and always hes time to answer questions. Proactive with care doing follow up blood work or what ever is needed.

I’m very happy with this office, the staff and the nurse practitioner my son saw today. She listened and offered great feedback and a course of treatment to help with his concerns. The front office got him in fast due to a cancellation. No wait time since the paperwork was emailed so that expedited the visit. Mirna, the NP was very compassionate and thorough. I’m so pleased with the care, I immediately changed my daughter’s primary on her insurance to Dr. Hirsch office.

This doctors' office is negligent and untrustworthy - do not let your loved ones be seen here. They are neglectful, cancel appointments last minute, and refuse to provide even a base level of care and communication with the patient. This is a predatory practice.

Now that I see the reviews (the low star) I can say I experienced the same thing. The office staff delayed delayed and delayed my calls my paperwork and when I finally got fed up I’m the one at fault. I have been trying since May and here we are June with another delay so I have moved on. Be careful.

Dr. Hirsch is okay, but the staff are rude and incompetent. They don't return phone calls, they screw up prescriptions, and after they've frustrated you beyond all reason, they get snippy. "Sir, there's no need for that tone" Really? After messing around for FOUR WEEKS just to get a prescription refilled? I'll take any tone I want. Take care of business, A-holes.

I miss Dr. Roth. After he sold his Rancho office I have tried to continue to see this provider Dr. Hirsch. It’s unorganized, refills sent to pharmacies in different cities, staff is rude, hard to get any basic care needs without multiple follow ups. I even made my physical appointment and sat in lobby with my son ( as ai have done for over a year) to be told they won’t see me with my baby with me. Maybe you should’ve told me that over the phone when you called for my reminder call or for the 20 minutes I sat in the lobby waiting. I desperately needed my physical for work so I rescheduled my appointments in two weeks and two days before it’s due they called me to tell me they’re no longer seeing patients in the office due to COVID-19. They told me to go wait at urgent care. Horrible customer service horrible follow through.

It is really disturbing that a Doctor and his Staff ignore patients phone calls when they try to make appointments. If you have any pre-existing issues that require medication, get ready to feel like you are being profiled and discriminated against. Apparently Mental illnesses aren't a serious concern with this doctor. Unprofessional, distasteful bedside manor, and no care for his patients.

Seen Dr. Hirsh 1x and a different associate ever since. Associates give you a limited time and then move on, don't review your past history so they request a repeat of care you already have had. Wondering if Dr. Hirsh is too busy opening his new operation to care for his patients. If you don't have anything serious, this is an ok office.

So very disappointed with Dr Hirsch and his staff. Each time I have seen Dr Hirsch he is apathetic. He is bizarrely "comical" where he is the only one amused. He has yet to offer a resolve to my medical issue. I have moved on as I am not getting the medical care that one should easily receive by a primary doctor. I don't recommend him-period. As for his office staff, the worst! They have made several mistakes ie; prescriptions, tests, etc. Not one time have they "really" taken my blood pressure. I look like the picture of great health, however I have extremely high blood pressure. They somehow always get 110/80. Other than being inept, they are extremely rude and dismissive. This is across the board with all the members in the office. Please, find another doctor, this is not worth it and may cause damage due to their mistakes.

I don’t know where these poor reviews are coming from but Dr Hirsch has been an awesome doctor for me. His staff in the Rancho office are very courteous and professional with me.

Most unprofessional bunch of people. The staff as well as the doctor. The sad thing trying to get simple test results that should be ready 2 hours TOPS 2 weeks later still don’t have the results.. the staff are nasty they’re not helpful whatsoever. I pray they never have to deal with this treatment with their doctor or their parents who are elderly. They work in a health care environment they need to show more compassion and understanding than what they do. It’s very sad I’m disgusted with that place. Obviously the Dr can’t handle both offices he can’t get prescriptions right, test results on time, or correct saying of informing a patient their diagnosis. Found out the diagnosis on the lab form he never told me. What kind of dr is this? Then trying to get results the staff don’t help they are nasty like you are bothering them for doing their job. Goodbye ???? ???? ???? ???? nasty people

Worst Dr in the I.E.! He treats you like a number and his staff will lie and manipulate anyway they can. Never come here!!

This guy is the worst. His office staff even more so. I first came in about 6 weeks ago with lower back pain and he still has not given me a diagnosis. His office staff has no clue in processing what paper work is needed and than completed correctly to get a treatment plan moving forward. He will sent you out for labs and other tests which have nothing to do with your reason for being there in the first place. This doctor is only in the office on Fridays so you will have to see a P.A., M.A, or a revolving scheduled doctor if you are lucky.

Besides a surly front office staff, it appears almost nobody in the firm does their proper job. Having seen three different PAs in my last four visits, none are aware of my file and I have to explain my full history to each who then argue with me over test results and don't pay attention to medications provided by other specialists and how they might be affecting my health.

Always treated w/ respect, understanding and kindness! Staff knows us by 1st names and always go above and beyond.

I like the Doc because he was very professional but not too stuffy. I like how down to earth he was but also that he listened to me. I would definitely recommend him and his office.
