Pain-free Knees for the first time in my life
Dr. Wright replaced both of my knees while I was in my 40s. I was born with bad knees and painful my entire life. He did an amazing job!! Today I am walking, marching in Rose Parade, Macy's Parade and able to do anything without any pain. It's amazing. Dr. Wright is incredibly caring and professional. He will tell you straight up the work you will have to do to get good results. DO IT!!! IT'S WORTH IT!!!

Don’t use him
Gives pat answers to any questions like “everyone’s experience is different”. “Be patient” “give it time”. “Pretty good progress “ when there is none. No solutions to poor healing. Sent me for second opinion from one of his own surgeons who told me I was doing great even though I was in constant pain and lack of mobility 5 months after surgery

If you're not a professional athlete, he will not give you the time of day. Period. You get 2-3 minutes with him and he rushes off.

I went to Doctor Rick Wright in early 2018 concerning a constant pain in my right shoulder. My wife accompanied me during the examination. He performed a quick exam and directed all of his comments to my wife - I felt like topper the ghost. He had an exam made and arranged for therapy. I had two or three appointments during the year concerning my constant pain in my right shoulder. In December 2018, I made another appointment. I ask my wife to stay in the waiting area so that he might talk to

Always rushed. 4 minutes is about all the time he has for each patient. I went in for a torn meniscus & had surgery. 6 months later they told me I need a total knee replacement. Dr. Wright was very uncomfortable when I tried to find out what happened. I don't think he took the proper time to assess my situation before deciding to operate. He treats people like cattle & the more surgery's he performs the more money he makes. I would not recommend him or Washington University Orthopedics.
