Dr. Ahmed did not address concerns and is not responsive when messaging her through patient portal. Does not seem concerned about patients wants or needs, but seems to be on auto pilot.

Filling in for my OB- would not recommend
Saw Dr. Ahmed while my OB was on maternity leave. She did not listen or address any of my concerns. She filled out things on chart that were not done in the exam (said she checked abdomen and breasts - I did not even take my shirt off). Entire appointment was rushed and she did not answer any of my questions or do a full exam. I do not feel confident in this doctor and will be seeking a new provider.

Caring, thorough
Dr. Ahmed is my regular gynecologist and I always appreciate her bedside manner, good attitude, and tasteful sense of humor. She asks good follow up questions and I feel listened to.

Dr. Ahmed was filling in for my OB. Long story short, I was 13 weeks pregnant at the time of the visit and she asked me for my birth plan. Ok, weird, seeing as that was my first prenatal visit, but I digress. My only plan was to try for a VBAC, a quiet room so I can focus, and that was pretty much it. She never asked me why I had a previous C-section, and her only response was the negatives of a VBAC, and she said, "You can try, but when your body fails, you're gonna have to have another C-section anyway, so you just need to do that." She did not even ask the reason for the original C-section. Everyone said how nice she was, but when you're not even going to be the one delivering my child, keep it professional, do your job, and keep your personal opinions out of it. Would not recommend her at all.
