I established as a patient with Dr Patel's office about a year ago and have only seen him once as he is never in the office or available for appointments. I saw his nurse practitioner my last visit for a sprained ankle/torn ligaments in the top of my foot. She was with me for all of 3 minutes. Didn't even take the wrap off of my foot to examine. I had gone to urgent care and they told me to follow up with my dr. She didn't give me 'next steps,' what I should expect during the healing process, exercises I should do or anything. She just said 'well if Summa said it's sprained, it must be sprained.' I called the office 2 days ago to make an appointment & had to schedule with a completely different office with a Dr I've never seen. I have been bounced around every single time. Dr Patel does not care about his patients. Only the money they bring him. I'm not sure how anyone could even call Dr Patel their PCP if they never see him?

Very nice and knowledgeable. Makes you feel comfortable and at ease. He treated my husband for high blood pressure and high cholesterol. He saved his life and continues his care. All around great guy. Very compassionate and understanding of cultures and their beliefs. He also treats me and my son . Highly recommended.

I saw Dr. Patel because I was having trouble breathing. I suggested a stress test but Dr. Patel didn't want to send me for one. He said he didn't think needed one but prescribed me an inhaler instead. It didn't help. I went back to him but he did nothing to help. A couple months later, I found a new primary care doctor who did send me for a stress test and I quickly found myself on an operating table for a triple bypass.

I took my 5 year old daughter to see him and was so impressed. His bedside manner is second to none. He was so kind to her and very patient with me and any questions I had. He really took time to make us feel like real people with real concerns, not just another patient and a paycheck.

Dr. Patel wears a bow tie, that makes me smile. He helped with my cancer diagnosis and showed compassion and empathy. He answers all the tough questions truthfully and makes you feel at ease. He is easy to joke with and be serious with. My new health insurance was going to make me lose him, so I switched my health insurance to stay. I have only ever felt that comfortable with a doctor once before. Very down to earth person and doctor and I appreciate his services.
