Too obese for me to diagnose you.
I thought I had done my research. I believe I tore some thing in my abdomen and no one has been able to figure out what. I’ve even been to the mayo clinic with no luck when I read about de Hadleys are of expertise I thought she would be the expert to give me some answers. from the moment she walked in the exam room she acted totally annoyed & rude and the way liked at me was almost like she was disgusted. she performed an exam of my abdomen and I winced, because I’ve been in a lot of pain she got very upset and told me “I can’t even diagnose you because of all of your obesity”. I was so thrown off that I actually apologized to this woman. I felt like I was walking on eggshells the entire time I was in her office I have never met a healthcare provider that was so mean. Her profile says she’s compassionate. I did not see any of that. I just can’t stop thinking about the way that she said it to me her tone was frustrated and disgusted.

Dr. Hadley has performed 2 surgeries on me. One, was very complex and she wasn't sure it could all be done robotically because of that. She and her team worked for over 4 hours making that happen, so that my recovery time would be easier and quicker than an open surgery. I just had my second (and hopefully last) surgery and she was wonderful! I highly recommend Dr. Hadley!! Tell her Terri sent you. ??

Rude and dismissive. Had to be prodded into performing a physical exam of my abdominal hernia. Made me feel that I was wasting her time from the second she opened the door. Exam and consultation lasted roughly 4 minutes; I spent more time with her nurse getting my vitals taken. May be a good surgeon (I'll never know), but has deplorable bedside manner.

Dr. Rita Hadley is inexperienced, incompetent, and rude I had an appointment with her for the 1st time on 07/01/20, my first impression was that she rude. She treated me as if I had the plague and barely examined me. She confirmed that I had a lump/mass on my lower left side and assured me that she had reviewed my CAT Scan from Jan, 2020, I was hesitant in allowing her to perform surgery on me but I have been in excruciating pain and still is. She performed surgery on me on 07/16/20 and it was NOT SUCCESSFUL. My left side is still protruding. I went back in to see her on 07/29/20 and it was a lengthy wait. She misdiagnosed me again stating that I had Irritable Bowel Syndrome which I've never had in my life. She decided AFTER performing surgery that she would order a CAT Scan instead of ordering one prior. I obtained a 2nd opinion from an accredited Surgeon and he confirmed my fears that the surgery had not been performed correctly and yet they are charging me for bad surgery.

I am so pleased that I saw Dr. Hadley! She assessed my health situation and addressed it in a very expedited manner. I had been misdiagnosed over the past 2 years. In fact just weeks before I saw her I saw a different GI Doctor telling me there was nothing wrong with me it was all in my head. Her demeanor and disposition and the way she listened and spoke to me put me at ease immediately she gave me a sense of calm and confidence that I truly had found a dedicated professional who was clearly concerned about my wellbeing. I would recommend her to anyone for I have found her to be a caring experienced and a true professional. I am now on the road to recovery from my Gallblader problems which just weeks before I was told by another GI Doctor it’s all in my head there was nothing wrong Dr Hadley in my opinion in the Finest example of a truly top shelf professional & also my experience at Chandler regional hospital was heart warming and so professional. Thank you Dr Hadley.

Surgery went well but After care sucked. Her nurse Olivia does not listen to your concerns. I called twice about concerns and after dealing with Olivia decided to go to the hospital. Follow-up care sucked! I went for a follow up visit 2 weeks after my surgery. My appointment was at 2pm. I was out of the office at 2:07! No instructions on what the next stage would include. Thankfully my sister had the procedure 2 yrs before me so She’s helping me. I would not recommend this Doctor if you’re looking for someone to guide you throughout the process.

I met Dr. Hadley for the first time last week. I have never felt more comfortable with a doctor in my life. She sat and talked to me, and actually listened to what I had to say. I look forward to future visits with Dr. Hadley, and that isn't something usually said about physicians.

Dr Rita Hadley is AWESOME! From my first appointment I knew it was going to be a success. Dr Hadley went over all of the bariatric surgery options and we decided the gastric sleeve would be best for me. I am now six months post surgery and I have lost over 140 pounds and only have 26 more to go to reach my goal weight of 210 pounds.

Dr Hadley is an excellent doctor with a no-noonsense kind of approach. She helped me get to my desired weight and gave me the biggest hug when I did. I really liked her and she is a great physician.

I have never been so depressed after a dr. appt. as I was yesterday after seeing Dr. Hadley. Basically she said there was nothing she could do for me. I was on a downward spiral due to weight loss and it might be too late to change the course. She said my body has gone into "anorexia mode". This is the first time I have ever seen this dr. I am not anorexic I had gastric cancer. I eat as much as I can when I can. Dr. Hadley told me she was sorry but gave me no advice on how to get better.

Dr Hadley is amazing. She's highly skilled, is caring and compassionate while being professional. She is by far the most caring doctor we've ever seen. We felt like she was our biggest supporter. After my husband spent 8 days in the hospital, lost 40 pounds in 3 weeks....she got him back to his normal onory self. She gets 5 stars from us. Tempe,AZ. PS-her assistant, Eva, is awesome too.

Dr. Hadley preformed an open gastric bypass on me 13 years ago next week. She is the kindest most compassionet Dr. I have ever been to. She explained the process thoughtly. I followed up with her every year until she left Oh. I am still 100 lbs less than surgery day. You can't do any better.
