Dr. Rita Raverty, MD

My grandmother had been doctoring with Dr. Raverty for over 20 years. The last 8 months she has complained about a pain on her left side. She was sent to physical therapy for a pulled muscle. At the end of February after seeing a different doctor and him ordering imaging March 3rd my Grandma was diagnosed with lung cancer and she passed away April 28th. As a family, we question why no imaging was done or why this pain she spoke of was not taken more seriously. Was it because she was 85 and just an old person who was going to die anyways? Very sad to think had it been discovered earlier we may have had more time with her. Yes, dr’s make mistakes and miss things but when you have seen a patient for over 20 years you would think a doctor would know them better and take them more seriously regardless of age. She doesn’t have to worry about seeing another Graf patient as long as she practices. My Grandfather who is still alive would never darken the doorstep of one of her patient rooms again.

Dr. Raverty is one of a kind. She's kind, sweet, honest and will never, ever let you feel unheard. She listens to your problems and concerns and always helps you find a solution. She is an amazing doctor, and I highly, highly recommend her. I've been a patient of hers for 10+ years. You will NOT be disappointed.
