Dr. Rita Sharma, MD

I am a retired nurse with lots of experience with doctors! I am very impressed with how Dr Sharma's treated me. She was very patient and informative when talking about diagnosing and treating my problem, as well as during a procedure I had to have. I recommend her without hesitation!

I had been going to Dr. Sharma for years she did a partial hysterectomy on me and took out my Cervix without telling me for years. I found this out in 2021 when she had me believing I still had a Cervix after her refusal to send me for a referral to have a colposcopy. After two months of hearing my BP is to high they won't do it. I took it upon myself to get a new GYN and it all came to light. I don't have a Cervix she removed it during the partial hysterectomy and didn't say a word about it. Had me believing all those years I had a Cervix. I would not trust this doctor, please get an second opinion. If she can talk and give medical advice when she know that it's all lies who knows what else she's done. Please be careful with some of these doctors they do not have an ounce of care in their heart and I learned the hard way.

Thank God for Dr.Sharma and her staff!!! She cares about her patients and she gives you all your options and what she think is best for your well being. She removed several fibroids. I am feeling like a new woman thanks to her.

Poor bedside manner. Very "matter of fact" and business oriented. I was shamed about my body, despite actuallyhaving lost a lot of weight recently. Dr. Sharma seems to be knowledgeable, but she made a lot of judgements about me for my first visit. She does not know me or how far I've come. She addressed my weight multiple times, made me promise to make certain changes, and told me that basically all the problems I'm having are weight related (which I know for a fact, some are not- there are genetic issues out of my control). I left the office wanting to cry. I know I'm not perfect, but there is a way to go about these things and be sensitive to the needs of your patient. Plus, I waited almost 40 minutes in a hot room. No music, and there is a window for anyone to watch you changing as you walk by. I wish I didn't have to do a follow up here, but I couldn't get in anywhere else. The office staff is great, that's the only positive.

I have seen Dr. Sharma for many years. If you are seeking a gyn who is knowledgeable about urinary as well as vulvar issues, she is great. Not a lot of practitioners have this expertise.

Dr. Sharma is kind, considerate, extremely qualified in her field, explains everything, and is gentle when she does an examination. The office staff is friendly and helpful. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Great doctor and staff! I’ve been a patient of Dr.Sharma for over a decade. She has great bedside manner and wants the best for all over patients.

Dr. Sharma is far too rushed and seems overwhelmed by being the sole practitioner in her office. She gave inconsistent explanations of what was going on and tended to lecture and be impatient rather than listening. I found that her diagnosis was incomplete when I got a second opinion, and that her suggested treatments were limited. I do not recommend her.

I WOULDN'T EVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO SEE THIS PROVIDER. SHE DOESN'T LISTEN TO HER PATIENTS, SHE TALKS OVER YOU AND WHEN YOU TELL HER WHAT YOU WANT SHE DOES THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE. SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO GIVE ME A HYSTERECTOMY AND I DID NOT GET THAT. SHE LEFT MY CERVIX IN WHEN IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE REMOVED AND WHEN I CONFRONTED HER ABOUT IT SHE TOLD ME "WELL WE CAN JUST GO BACK IN AND TAKE IT OUT". WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD LET SOMEONE CUT ON THEM AGAIN. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PROVIDER.

She's OKAY. Not that personable. Her staff is unorganized. I had to call the office myself on both occasions to get my test results because I didn't hear from them. The staff hassled me about my insurance 5 months after I was seen when there was definitely a paid claim. My mom suggested her but I personally wouldn't suggest her to anyone.
