I have been seeing Dr. Edo for about 4 years now. I will be straight forward here, I also did not like his approach the first few times I had seen him. He is very matter of fact, which I like. He lacks some bedside manner, but he is very busy. He is a knowledgeable Doctor though, he does care about his patients, he moves fast, so it may seem as if your felling rushed. He listens, he does not mind my questions, as I can be annoying as I am overinformed, over-read, and not a medical professional. I am a complicated patient. He has called me, answered my emails, and will entertain all my thoughts and opinions on my health care. So, if straight forward and direct is your thing, he is a great choice for a doctor.

If you want a knowledgeable yet very matter of fact doctor, then select Dr. Edo. I personally prefer a doctor that tells things like it is and doesn't sugar coat things. He wants the best for his patients but doesn't want them wasting his time. I love that about him!

Dr. Edo is awesome. Took care of many issues the family has had over the last few years, always ready with referrals when it's something better left to a specialist, and he looks at the whole person, as a DO would, not just the one issue.

Terrible. It was like he didn’t want to be there for a simple annual wellness check. Maybe not arrogant, just not very bright. Rest of AMG is very nice and knowledgeable.

I have been to the practice for decades. I have a reoccurring condition--seen and diagnosed by my regular doctor. It is completely documented in the records and treated with a short-term prescription. I am trying to avoid sitting in a weekend urgent care waiting room due to Covid concerns and my immune system not to mention I have a high deductible. He refused to proscribe it and accused me of "trying to intimidate him" when he spoke to me over the phone. I told him that I was going to hang up and if he thought it was intimidating, then that's the way it goes. Reading these other reviews, it looks like this is not an unusual experience.

Arrogant and shockingly uninformed. I went in to talk about my suddenly very high blood sugar and rapid weight loss. Very long story, but he tried to tell me Type 2 Diabetes didn't make sense (I had been borderline for about 10 years), since diabetics gain weight, rather than lose it. I went on to explain that that is counter to everything I've ever known and even counter to logic. I explained that my understanding was diabetics lose weight due to their inability to use insulin effectively to absorb sugars into their cells, and thus excrete them in their urine. He insisted I was wrong. I just sent him substantiated fact from a Cleveland Clinic article that he was in fact wrong. This is FUNDAMENTAL medical science. Agree with previous review, stay away.

I had similar bad experience with this doctor. I went in for a follow up on some tests done while visiting the nurse practitioner. He gave me no feedback and did not go over a single test -talked about prescriptions and when I was skeptical he through a sheet of paper at me to check my blood pressure and told me to come back in 3 weeks. Then disappeared. What? He wasn’t there 10 minutes. He didn’t even discuss one test number. Waste of time leaving that group.

I went to him for a swelling in my rear. He wouldn't touch it. Within a minute he recommended me to a surgeon and was very certain that there is no other treatment. He also ordered a X-ray. His whole diagnosis is done in a minute. 2 days later the swelling went away by itself. Bad doc. Stay away.

Recently saw Dr Edo for a sore arm. He was so rude to me I wanted to leave. He asked me why I hadn't reported my pain in my arm sooner when in fact if he had bothered to read the notes he would have seen that I saw another doctor in the group and followed their instructions. Very arrogant and condescending!! His bedside manner is zero. Changing medical groups because of him. Worst doctor experience of my life. Felt angry when I left.

Dr. Edo has a horrible bedside manner. He seems annoyed when you ask questions and he has to explain something to you and comes off extremely condesending. Worst experience I ever had with a doctor. You're better off seeing a physician assistant or switching doctors.

My husband is a patient of Dr.Edo, and he disliked him in the 1st visit itself as husband felt he was a bit rude, and i experienced same on my visit too...he has no greeting sense very rude very impatient and no smile on his face throughout our conversation after a point i felt discouraged of asking any questions, as after the visit he closed the door with a bang i never had such experience with any doctor...never going back again.

Dr. Edo does not communicate much with the patient about why and how. He only spent about 5-10 minutes with the patient for therapy or regular office visit. That is barely enough time for any therapy or treatment. He does not ask questions either.
