Meh
I have been with two different loved ones who saw Dr Mahajan and another who saw Dr Balsiger and both times we also saw Andrew Colin-the-useless nurse-practitioner, once we saw Sharlene Jeffers. Disappointed in all of them and do not recommend my experiences to anyone. This practice is very very busy and the 'bros' running it don't care about you unless you have something interesting going on and if you don't, off to Andy-the-useless you go. Waste of time to see him or to try and get a prescription renewal from him or anyone in the office. Yet I saw him standing around chatting two different times Sharlene was defensive and never followed up. Apparently she was supposed to go over the psych reports with us. Nope. There is zero continuity of care and zero follow up after a devastating diagnosis. DO NOT GO HERE. GO TO CNS(Clinical Neurology Specialists) instead. Much better personalized care

Please cq;lll me regarding the neuropsychology appointment you mentioned to me last June or July. You said you would call after the first of the year. I have called the numbers you have given me, to no avail. When I have spoken to your office, I have been told you will call me. Thank you. Darcy DeMarco

Believe me when I say Dr Balsiger is one of the great ones! My father has Parkinson's & I have Epilepsy so I have seen nearly EVERY Neurologist here in Las Vegas. Dr Balsiger will make time for you always! Lately, I was having weird neurological symptoms & my next appt wasn't for 8wks. I just went to the office & Dr B fit me in. He sat talked w/me, did an exam, and we found a new treatment plan. Just to be safe, he ordered new tests & I have a new office visit 4 wks (w/option to call 4 earlier if I need). If you need a VERY COMPETENT, FRIENDLY and INTELLIGENT Neurologist go to Dr Balsiger. Just to say about COVID-19 protocol: b4 Covid his office was only 1 part of the 3rd floor & now it's the whole 3rd floor, they've taken to using more seating spacing, temperature taking, there's hand sanitizer everywhere, and it really is much safer than more offices.

Dr. Balsiger is a wonderful caring doctor ????? he listens to your issues! The problem is you can’t get an appointment to see him! This lasted time they told me he had a three month waiting period really!! You can’t get anyone on the phone either, and the waiting room is a Covid joke so many people all together in a tiny space! If it wasn’t for those issues I would give Him five stars!

I’m a retired RN and it takes a lot to impress me. Dr Balsinger exceeded all my expectations! He’s interested in his patients. He actually read my complex medical history before entering the exam room. He spoke to me like an adult and has ordered specialized imaging no other neurologist has in my 60+ years of migraines. I’ve had several concussions and head injuries. He’s easy to talk to and very professional and thoughtful. Respect and integrity.

I have never been to a medical practice so smoothly run and efficient, and had such a friendly, courteous, knowledgable and professional staff; from the initial phone contact, through check-in, rooming, interaction with the medical assistant & Physician Assistant, and Dr. Balsinger. Everyone took their time and was thorough, and, as the patient, I did not feel that I was being rushed through the appointment. I highly recommend this practice.

He saw my dad twice and each time was a 2-3 hour wait and the Doc was not prepared either visit. He didn’t read reports prior to our visit then was too rushed to take time to see if they were in file, which they were. They had my dad take memory testing in office and every single time they lost his results then acted like it was no big deal. Do you know how hard it is to have a 3 times stroke victim with dementia do those types of tests?? And to just dismiss that, is just horrible!

Dr Balsiger is an amazing human being w/ a wonderful bedside manner. We're dealing with a very difficult situation & Dr Balsiger's compassion, patience and understanding are a healing balm. Many doctors today give you the rush act and put processes and procedures over patients and their families. Dr. Balsiger has an old school way of dealing with patients and their families. If there were more doctors like him we would be on our way to solving our nation's health care crisis...Thanks Dr B :-)

Very easy to talk to and explains everything and answers questions very well. After dealing with head problems which continues to get worse over last several years I finally feel like I have found someone who can figure it out and explain what it is and if it’s something I just need to learn to live with or what I can do to correct it. Definitely would recommend him.

Too INEXPERIENCED PLUS forgetful or careless! Dr nervous Frm 1 appt 2 next would "talk" about plan of treatment which changed by visit unless we reminded him. Dr. order test & forget 2go over results or forget test was done. Staff NOT trained performing test, staff alter results= wasted test but still billed Ins. 2nd Dr in same office read blood test 1st Dr overlooked for months & didn't know the basics how blood clots R formed. $$$$ billed Ins but ZERO help Dr clueless for serious issues.
