Dr. Robert Beardsley, MD

The biggest issue is that this doctor simply jam packs his schedule. they leave absolutely no time to answer questions or discuss anything. Basically, if you want to be a patient there, you have to turn off your brain and be quiet and let them do what they want to you. I waited for like an hour and 20 minutes, being shuffled around from room to room with endless studies and a different helper each time. I think I saw this doctor face to face for about 2-3 minutes. He told me most of what I ready knew and basically brushed off my questions. I didn't trust what he said or that he thought carefully about my care at all. All helpers were clearly stressed and overworked and wishing their day would just end. Really, this is a cattle yard. Push you though and bill your insurance as much as they can. I won't be going back. Much better docs in the area.

In September of this year I had a second eye surgery performed by Dr. Beardsley and once again I am very pleased with the care I received from Dr. Beardsley and his staff... professional, knowledgeable, efficient patient centered care.

I highly recommend Dr Beardsley. He explains what is happening in a way you understand. He has a very calming and friendly approach. He has preformed 2 surgeries on my eye, both successful. All the staff is knowledgeable and professional. Sometimes the waiting for your appointment is long but here is my theory, I would rather wait and have the best taking care of my eyes. Would not go to any other doctor

Well, you instinctively trust Dr. Beardsley because of his direct, sincere, open approach. He is open to questions ( of which my wife and I had many). He takes the time to explain things clearly and concisely, until he is certain you are satisfied with his responses.

Dr. Beardsley is friendly and articulates his findings clearly. He answers my questions. He speaks quite fast, so you may have to ask him to clarify some of his observations and answers - to slow down. I recommend him. The whole office works very smoothly and efficiently.

Yes, I would recommend Dr. Beardsley to friends and family. He and his staff are very polite and explain procedures and/or steps being taken during your visit. Dr. Beardsley has let me know the outcome of each test on the same day of my visit and what to expect thereafter.

Not much to say about this routine visit, except that everything went well. Just one humorous frustration: When he is looking into my eye and dictating to the woman who takes his notes, he talks very quietly about each observantion,and she can hear him, but I cannot because I'm partly deaf. I'm always curious about what I'm missing. But I assume that the written summary of the visit is based on what he said to her.

Dr Beardsley is very kind, has a friendly presence, and is one of the top retina specialist in our area. We are very lucky to have him here.

Dr. Beardsley saw me immediately when referred by my ophthamologist. He is extremely knowledgeable and personable. His staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend him to everyone. With 5 stars as excellent I give Dr. Beardsley a 10. He is wonderful.
