I have an unusual type of Bipolar Disorder wherein mania never appears unless it is triggered by an antidepressant. I remained depressed for over forty years. I saw a long list of world-renowned doctors.Nothing worked.Dr. Bransfield “cured” me. Technically, there is no cure. However, complete remission sure feels like one.I feel that I am in a unique position to be able to compare psychiatrists. Most of my doctors have been world-renowned researchers specializing in neuropsychopharmacology. I found that doctors in research settings are focused on a limited set of issues according to their investigations. They often lack a competency in the entirety of clinical practice.Dr. Bransfield designs innovative treatment strategies that are rarely seen in psychiatry. If your case is treatment-resistant, in my opinion, you will have a better chance of being treated successfully by Dr. Bransfield than the famous researchers I was treated by.DR. BRANSFIELD GIVES UP ON NO ONE.

I took Dr Bransfield help in 2008 when going through a personal issue. I still look back with respect for Dr Bransfield not just as a doctor but for his wisdom during that time that allowed to move forward.

Robert Bransfield is an international top 1% psychiatrist respected all over the USA, Canada and Europe. He is not a mere psychiatrist. He is a mentor for exceptional veteran psychiatrists. Bob regularly enhances my work with patients, my research and mentors many of us all over the USA. In terms of emerging science, medicine issues impacting mood, thought, cognition, no one in N. America comes to mind as superior. My only compliant is I would like him in my state. Simple Bottom Line: Cream. Peerless. Brilliant. Kind. Careful. Wise.

Dr. Bransfield is the most caring responsive doctor I have ever met. He is top notch and his office manager, Barbara is a saint. I have suffered from Bipolar disorder for over 30 years . Dr . Bransfield was the first to label it after years of bouncing around between doctors and therapists. He has enabled me to function within a society that has little patience for people who suffer from a mentally illness.

Dr Bransfield has not physically seen my husband in person in 5 years. He speaks to him 3 times a year and prescribed him medication over the phone. My husband has bipolar and at times his meds are not effective and due to dr bransfields inconsistency in speaking to him he is unaware of my husbands outbursts and their frequency. He is the definition of the word malpractice. He prescribed him two stimulants and not a mood stablizer yet he is a recovered addict. This dr should be ashamed of himself

Dr. Bransfield is an excellent doctor. He is both caring and knowledgeable; a rare combination to find in a doctor. He truly helps a person to move forward in their life, to become functional, able to work, and to feel like themselves again after a period of depression. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Bransfield has been enormously helpful in helping me understand and treat Lyme disease. After many years of systemic symptoms without a proper diagnosis due to negative lab tests, Dr. Bransfield has made a clinical diagnosis and prescribed treatment that has me feeling better than I have in many, many years. I am thankful for his courageous work in this field.

If it wasn't for Dr. Bransfield I don't know if I could survive my chronic illness. He thinks out of the box. I don't know what I'll do if he ever retires.
