Came in an hour early, was told that they were 45 minutes behind. We came back 15 minutes early, we still waited 1 hr 15 minutes on top of that. Finally got into a room, and when he finally met with me, he didn't seem to be listening. He was there for 15 minutes, asked me what I wanted him to do about it, and answered his phone 3x! And had conversations. When he rushed us out the entire office was empty except for one lady. He couldn't refer me to a nutritionist, since he was no help. HORRIBLE

If I could choose 0 stars, I would. My appt. was a few months ago while he was running in the Senate Seat Race. While I waited hours to see him at the hospital, I heard more about the “race” and his “sales pitch” for my vote than my own health issues. His bedside manner is less than sterling and his personal demeanor is downright selfish. I’m sure Dr. Brinson knows his area of expertise but in no way would I want to visit him again.

I was not impressed with Dr. Brinson when my husband had his colonoscopy and EGD. He told me my husband had irritation from drinking. He told me my husband had to quit drinking completely because he is not the kind of man that can just cut back and have a 1 or 2. Dr. Brinson met my husband the 1st and only time when he saw him at the surgery center to have these procedures. He has never been seen in Dr. Brinson's office.

Dr. Brinson is a very knowledgeable doctor, I had to wait to see him for about 1 hour but that's not uncommon with a specialist. His staff was extremely helpful, kind, and had a cheerful attitude, I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends.

I went dealing with pain in my abdomen. He shook it off, saying that it was some rare genetic disorder. After waiting weeks for a call with result of my biopsy,I was finally rudely responded to by a nurse who, annoyed at my countless calls said,It's the rare disorder the doctor told you (claimed to be looking at my results),She also said after telling her thank you countless times WELL ATLEAST YOU DON'T HAVE CANCER! **Sarcastically** well I did,and I would've died listening to them. stay away

3 weeks after a biopsy, I had still not heard from Dr. Brinson. When I called the office the staff was rude. I have since had my primary care physician consult another GI and have begun treatment. I think he's an excellent doctor with an incompetent staff. If I can't get in touch with my doctor when needed, he's not any use to me.

Dr. Brinson is VERY unconsecrated when it comes to time and also explaining things. My Mother has not been able to eat in 10 days and is a Type 1 Diabetic; he stated that he would be that the hospital at 7am to place her feeding tube and she would be his first case in 2 days. I was told at 8:15am that he was not there (by a hospital staff member I had to call) and she would be seen that afternoon. I feel like he doesn't notice or care that she has not eaten in 10 days. UNACCEPTABLE!!

I waited about 35 minutes in the waiting room, and approximately 1hr45min in the room waiting on the doctor. He only spent about 7 minutes in the room with me. I had to get the trainee to send him to my room or otherwise I may have waited even longer.
