Dr. Robert Bruno, MD

Fantastic caring doc !

I am writing this review based on a very distressing experience my father had under the care of Dr. Bruno, It is with a heavy heart and a sense of responsibility to others that I feel compelled to share our story so that other patients can be aware and make informed decisions regarding their healthcare.We initially sought out Dr. Bruno for my father's kidney issues, trusting in his expertise and guidance. Unfortunately, our trust was met with what I firmly believe was a misdiagnosis and a treatment plan that not only failed to address the real issues but also led to a further decline in my father's kidney function.Dr. Bruno prescribed a series of medications that, after consulting with another nephrologist, we discovered were unnecessary and detrimental to my father's kidney health. The lack of appropriate intervention at crucial moments has left my family questioning the standard of care provided. Purposely kept assuring his GFR was good - it wasn’t - new Dr showed they were false

Called office three times over six months to get the status of my dads condition, as I live out of state and cannot be with him on his appts. No response from office. He has been a patient there for years with no treatment plan for his kidneys (as far as I know), and he is now in end stage kidney disease and probably beyond being a candidate for dialysis at this point. All I would like is an explanation from the office regarding why he was not treated prior to his condition declining and his prognosis at this point, so that I can come and spend time with him. Very disappointed.

Office staff was very friendly and efficient. Dr. Bruno took his time and explained everything to me. I was very happy with this initial visit

Dr Bruno is one of the most caring and sensitive doctors that I have ever had. He makes you feel comfortable and confident that he will be serious and accurate with his diagnosis and treatment. He made a potentially very serious condition manageable. He diagnosed my condition 100% correct before the testing was completed!
