No bedside manner. Couldn’t care less.
he can’t wait to get you out of the office so that you can charge your card. He asked you questions but he doesn’t give you time to answer them. He’s awful.

I saw Dr. Dean for flank pain as I had a kidney stone. He sent me for an x-ray, I assumed KUB. To my surprise he had them do a chest x-ray. When he was questioning me and I tried to answer him he abruptly interrupted me to say he wanted short answers.

Does not listen
Dr. Dean is rude and very arrogant. He lets you know he will be the one doing the talking and asking of questions. If he does not let you talk, how will he know how to address your issues. I have never experienced another doctor like him. This is family practice. He should go practice in a vain plastic surgeon's office.

Be ready to stare at his certificate on the wall while he tells you all about himself and his family and does not care or listen to anything about you or what you need. (Never met a doctor with an ego this big and ridiculous.) I had an issue with my medicine and was having bad side effects, I explained this to him and he said (and I quote), "if it isn't broken don't fix it." Not really sure what that was all about. Had to literally sneak away from him to get a new primary care and the nurses had to help me hide or sneak away from him in the hallway to avoid seeing him. It's funny when I mention my past experiences with this doctor and random people who happen to overhear my conversation chime in with their own nightmare stories. He's that popular--and not in the good way! I hope I never have a doctor like this again.

Do not use this Dr. Dean. He is rude and unprofessional and refuses to listen to his patient. His office staff does not follow through with ordering tests. They refuse to return phone calls. A family member saw Dr Dean multiple times in a month and he stated there was nothing wrong. He changed his ant acid medication. 6 weeks later my brother has just been diagnosed with cancer that is spread throughout his body. Please save your own life and do not allow him to be your Dr.

I enjoyed the office visit with Dr. Dean more than most of my previous doctors. Most never seem to worry about my big toe. I am a professional Treasure Hunter and my toe needed a professional opinion. I had minor surgery two weeks later-- I am back to work thanks to Dr. Dean's thoughtful care. I am on Medicare I would advise anyone wanting a pcp work with this doctor.

Office staff were awesome and his assistant, Judy, was very nice, Dr Dean talks a big game but does not follow through. My son's first visit we were told to NEVER take him to an urgent care, that he was better and is use to a fast paced environment. Dr Dean told us he would work us into his schedule, one attempt was made a year ago or so and he just didnt have an opening. Today I called and was sent to a voicemail when I went into the office Judy told me that they were done with clinic and they dont accept walk-ins. I asked why we told he would work us in and, according to Judy, Dr Dean said he never told us that. He does not keep his word so what leads me to believe he is a reliable doctor? DO NOT SEE THIS PHYSICIAN.

Dr. Dean has been my primary physician for 3+ years. He is always very professional, errs on the side of caution and is for trying alternative therapies before throwing unnecessary medication at an issue (a quality I am thankful for). He and his nurse have always been kind to me and my family and make us feel like more than just one of dozens of patients seen in a day. I would highly recommend Dr. Dean and his nurse to anyone looking for a primary care physician.

Very unprofessional. Makes me uncomfortable. More interested in talking about himself. Calling me knucklehead. Throwing meds at me Instead of listening ing to my concerns and figuring out why I have daily migraines. When I refused a pap smear at my annual checkup (since my obgyn does that for me), he marked me as difficult on my record and referred me multiple times to his in house behavioral therapist. Is more into telling you hes board certified than actually giving a crap about his patients. Always late with some kind of personal excuse (including his dog ate his shoe). Everytime I was in there he would look in my purse and comment on an item in it- like books. Calendar etc. I highly suggest you run away from seeing this dr! I know several others who have experienced the same exact appointments. Got very defensive and rude when I went above him to see a neurologist bc of my migraines. And he wouldnt refer me or even do bloodwork or testing. Despise this dr quack!

Will never go back, just moved into the area from out-of-state. Dr. Dean had all my medical records way before my visit. Never looked them over until sitting in front of me. He was rude, would not answer questions. Said I had things wrong with me that did not exist. Should not be in family practice. Found another doctor the moment I walked out of his office.

I just had by far the absolutely worst office visit with any doctor I’ve ever seen. Dr.Robert Dean is in such a rush that he was in the room for no longer then 5 minutes. He said he didn’t understand why I was there so he just came straight to me to “hear it straight from the horses mouth” So I try and begin to tell him what is going on and he couldn’t stop cutting me off as though he didn’t really care at all! I’m trying to explain to him that I’m having extreme pain and numbness in my feet and arms, along with a hot sensation on one foot, dizziness, nausea, heart palpitations.....but he just didn’t want to hear anything and chalked it up to he thinks it’s anxiety related and he will notify my psychiatrist. Are you kidding me! I’ve had anxiety as long as I can remember so I know this isn’t anxiety related! Oh and as he’s basically pushing me out of the door to get some blood work done that I requested to check for diabetes....I’m trying to also check with him and ask him if a previous

I’m a type 1 diabetic, saw dr dean for the first time in April. I had a list of things to ask. I planned on asking him to clean my ears, but he interrupted me not allowing me to finish. My ear canals are very narrow. And even though it looks ok, every two years I get really sick due to it so I needed them cleaned. Weeks after my appointment, I have an ear infection and sinus infection. The urgent care folks pulled an inch of wax out of my left ear. It was an half of an inch wide. If he had listen to me I would not have been sick for over a week and have less control of my diabetes. He just would not give me a chance to cover that or anything else on my list. When I said something, he said my ears were fine and when I began to explain my narrow ear canals and that I could not hear out of my left ear he cut me off. I had the same ear issue 2 and 4 years ago so I knew I needed them cleaned and I did not get a chance to ask.

One of the worst pcp’s I’ve ever seen. He doesn’t listen to ANYTHING and is so busy trying to be funny that he misses anything you’ve said. He would ask a question and before I could even say anything he would start talking again. He ordered a ton of tests, all of which I had already completed! If he would have listened to even 5% of what I was trying to say he would have realized this. Astonishing that Saint Francis allows such poor care within their system!

Was assigned Dr Dean after my wonderful dr left the state. The first visit was fine. He seemed to care and listen. But each time I have seen him since it has gotten worse and worse. He has rushed me out the door faster and faster each time. He is always so concerned about what I am doing wrong when it comes to my diabetes, even if the reason i made the appointment was for something else. He half listens then shouts out a diagnosis even if is not related to anything. Three strikes your out.

I cannot thank you enough for releasing me from your so called care. You are the worst dr. I have ever had and having MS. That's. a lot. All you ever did was send me somewhere else. When someone has MS everything goes wrong and as a primary care YOU are supposed to treat them. Not deny them their medication and tell them to call the neurologist. Good riddance!
