Today, I had the misfortune of taking my mother to see an Oral Surgeon for an urgent consult. I called the office and was given a same day appointment. However, Dr. Demick is the most uncaring and unconcerned doctor I have ever encountered. When he entered the room the first thing he addressed was that he did not accept Medicare. I explained that when I called I had been informed of that, but since my mother was having pain and had an infection in her mouth, I wanted her to be seen and that I would pay for the visit. Dr. Demick continued to insist that she go to a Medicare doctor. He pretty much refused to take care of my mother and I had to leave with her in the same condition. All this doctor needed to do was make an assessment, any recommendations, and tell us how much it would cost. We would then decide about the treatment. Either way he was going to get paid for the office visit and consult. I can't believe there could be doctors like this. How unfortunate!

What a great experience today with Dr. Demick and his staff. Very understanding and compassionate. He was wonderful. Explained everything going on and the procedure to be done. Very careful and everything went great. Thank you again for all your help and making me feel so at ease.

Dr. Robert A. Demick is one of our highly experienced and knowledgeable oral and maxillofacial surgeons on staff at Advanced Dentistry South Florida in Delray Beach. He has been placing dental implants for many years. In his down time, he enjoys flying and motorsports.
