Dr. Robert Edelman, MD

Dr. Edelman is a highly experienced, caring and knowledgeable ophthalmologist who is known and respected in the larger medical community. I feel like my concerns are always listened to and considered. Dr. Edelman and his staff pay attention to every little detail of my care and follow-up. The staff is attentive and responsive. They even hold my hand during difficult procedures. Everyone is the office is professional, knowledgeable and compassionate, and I always feel like both my physical and emotional comfort are a priority to them, as well as ensuring I receive the best care for my eyes. I am grateful to have them on my medical care team.

Dr Edelman, has been practicing for 40 years. He is very proficient and yet mostly concerned with the overall well being of his patients. We were very fortunate to have been referred to him.

Dr. Edelman seems a well qualified practitioner. I have found him patient focused and I like him personally. However, his office operations are a disaster. I judge a medical practice by their credentials, experience, professional manner and by how well the office is run.

All I have to say is this guy is awesome. He fixed the issue I had with another well know eye doctor in San Leandro. So beware do your research. His staff is great also always calling to make sure your ok and everything you need you have.

I have had several procedures done with excellent results. His office is well-equipped with state of the art technology. His staff is very loyal and have been with him for many years; all are well-trained, polite, caring individuals. The doctor takes time with each patient and explains everything in great detail. The office also includes Dr. Fong, optometrist, and Debbie who offers an array of eyeglasses. To my mind, all are top-rated and I feel fortunate to live near such a good eye doctor.
