Very positive experience.
The Dr. Was very friendly and didn't rush through the appointment the way some providers do. He explained my medical issues very thoroughly and in easily understood terms. Explained my options and assisted me in making an appropriate decision regarding treatment.

A patient's dream physician!
Dr. Equi made my situation with my eye clear and very detailed. He was personable and all he told me about what to expect from the procedure was spot on. Couldn't be more pleased. Vision is so vital and he made my serious situation understandable and less frightening,

hemorrhage left eye
I seen doctor Equi today for a hemorrhage in the left eye . A vitreous hemorrhage and retinal tear . I was treated with laser today . He explained everything and made me more calm about the procedure. I am so happy I got to see him today thank you jehovah. Thank you Doctor Equi . I am already making progress to recovery.

Best Clinician I've Ever Had
Dr Equi fixed my detached retina. Took two procedures to do it because of how it was. Since then I see him annually. The detached retina set off a series of events wherein I needed cataract surgery which gave more complications (none of the problems or complications were the result of faulty care, just faulty body.) Because of this, I have a high level of anxiety regarding anything related to my eyes. Dr Equi always explains everything he is doing, and what he is seeing. He is patient and LISTENS to my concerns and questions. I never feel like I am a cog in the machine in his office. He clearly takes the time to review my file before he sees me. This makes all the difference. And, when he has given me bad news, I always feel like I've been able to ask all the questions I need and been given all the information I want. Can't recommend highly enough.

Glad I Found Him
I've seen Dr. Equi twice. During both visits, he took the time to explain what was happening with my eyes and the next steps to follow. This is especially appreciated as I have a hearing loss that isn't fully corrected with aids. A doctor who is willing to answers questions and clarify what I've heard--sometimes more than once--is a blessing. Highly recommend.

Great bedside manner
Dr Equi is an excellent retinal specialist. He has a great bedside manner and made me feel like he knew me even though it’s probably only the second time I’ve seen him. I used to go to Dr. Wendel in the same practice who is excellent as well. All the staff and Dr’s are great. I would highly recommend.

Dr. Equi has been my retinal specialist for quite a while. I hope he will be my retinal specialist for the rest of my life. He’s very kind and pleasant.
