Dr. Robert Frankel, MD

I previously wrote a poor review and Dr. Frankel reached out to me. There were some miscommunications with scheduling apparently and he took the time to review what has transpired with me, my health concerns and made time to see me right away. We had a very good visit today and he is working with me to resolve my health issues. Dr Frankel was totally listening to my story of 15 years…..he was kind, considerate, friendly and gave me great advice…..I’m so glad I had the courage to talk to him.

I was largely housebound from extreme GI symptoms after antibiotics, Frankel seemed to dismiss or not believe my issues so I ended up having to spend months and months researching and identifying my own food triggers to stall my 70 lb weight loss & extreme reflux since antibiotics. Had to get care elsewhere from a supportive Dr.

Dr. Frankel and his staff were exceptional. They were on-time, thorough, and patient with their explanations.

I randomly had Dr. Frankel when I was in hospital as a result of high liver enzymes found in my bloodwork. How lucky/ blessed was I to have be assigned such a phenomenal physician. He was extremely knowledgeable and also didn’t hesitate to consult other physicians when the area was pushing his own expertise. He was thorough, cautious, and kept my primary in the loop throughout my hospitalization. I wouldn’t hesitate to see him should I have any other issues and would highly recommend him!!

Dr. Frankel is the only doctor that has ever listened to me. I spent years unnecessarily in pain when I would tell other doctors that the treatments were not working. He figured out the solution and I feel like I’ve been given a second chance at life. He always follows up promptly and gives thorough explanations.

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Robert Frankel as my physician for my medical issue. He was very professional, showed a caring concern, and provided me the time to review my medical issue and recommended what I needed. He performed an upper endoscopy and followed up with me after the procedure. I changed from another Group to Mainline and it was a great choice. I would recommend Dr. Robert Frankel to anyone that require his service. This recommedation is not being taken slightly, it is well deserved.

My visit with Dr. Frankel was very unpleasant. I expressed my GI concerns with him and it was clear that he didn't are about me as patient. He spoke to me with disregard and was more focused on telling me how I was wrong instead of working with me to help me understand. I took off time from work to get help. Instead, I left his office feeling frustrated and defeated.

I can say without reservation, Dr. Frankel exemplifies what every doctor should aspire to be; caring, courteous, conservative, amiable, patient, thorough, conscientious, while being an excellent diagnostician. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Frankel really listened and offered different thoughts of my GI issues that no one else had. Is very friendly, kind and professional. I highly recommend him.

He was rude, condescending and rushed through the appointment. He didn’t explain things thoroughly and didn’t seem to want to answer questions.

Dr. Frankel is knowledgeable, thoughtful, caring, very through, personable, patient centric, and his follow up is exceptional/outstanding. I am sooo thankful and blessed to have found him for my mother. I will highly recommend him to all my friends and family.
