My mother
My 77 year old mother had an appointment for bumps rash. I met the nursing facility at the appointment to go in with her. Dr. G stood at the door arms folded and never once walked toward my mother to look at her skin. I had to say, Mom show him. He still never walked towards her. She had this all over her back and other areas. He never saw it. We were in the room with him maybe 3-4 minutes. He said get medicated body wash and prescribed a cream. Bedside manner is highly lacking. Her follow up will be somewhere else. She is still battling this rash.

I have been a patience for 15-20 years. The staff has always greeted me with great customer service from the time of the appointment, all the way up to the initial visit. The wait time is short, so I can be seen and treated, while on my lunch hour. The doctor is very professional and sincere when discussing my treatment. I've never had a problem with service and I do refer people to Doctor Garbacz.

He was condesending, judgemental, and at one point, rude. He formed opinions about me before he even entered the room. He acted like I was "bothering" him by PAYING him to be there.

Wrong diagnosis
When I began researching the sores in the corners of my mouth, my symptoms and the appearance both fit with a condition called Angular Chilitis. But this doctor insisted that it was a different condition, Perioral Dermatitis. Finally I convinced them to take a cultural of the area. The culture revealed MRSA. Again I researched and found that Angular Chilitis can be caused by a staph infection such as MRSA. So if they had listened to me and done a culture earlier instead of just assuming it was something more common, I may have suffered months less of the embarrassment of having an open rash on my face. I suffered from this condition for years and was really hoping to get an accurate diagnosis when I finally saw a Dermatologist. Unfortunately I had several more months worth due to this misdiagnosis. I don't understand why doctors don't want to LISTEN to their patients, it a disappointing breach of trust.

Horrific Experience
Been seeing this “doctor” for over seven months with no results. Last appointment I asked what is he going to do to resolve my terrible itching / scratching all over my entire body. He became defensive and stated I did not get the process, asked what is the process is, it was funding his retirement, many more appointments and UV fluorescent light bulb treatments, creams that prove worthless. When coverage changed on 01:23 I tried to make an appt. To see him, Holly would not set the appt because she said it needed a referral or pay $133. Called my insurance company and they called her and she said it was all set, even agent knew she was just trying to get her off the phone. So my carrier and I put our heads together and found a qualified doctor. In four days itching had ended and now I’m just waiting for the scabs to fall off all over my body from this sever scratching/itching. Garbacz has not interest in curing anything, just more appts, spend more money and do ad told, Not Acceptabl!

Never Again
He took biopsies of several small lesion on my legs. HE DID HIS OWN PATHOLOGY. H diagnosed my condition as a "Very Aggressive Skin Cancer," and scheduled immediate surgery. I didn't feel comfortable with his diagnosis, especially since he did his own pathology on my biopsies, so I sought a 2nd & 3rd opinion from dermatologists in the Metro-Plex. They both agreed, IT IS NOT CANCER. They both diagnosed my condition as TEXTBOOK- LICHEN PLANUS!!! They treated with a very mild, topical medication. Very quickly my lesions disappeared. If I knew how, I would have filed a grievance against him "somewhere." Go to him at your own peril.

So pleased
I am just so pleased with my visit from start to end. Everyone, from the front desk, to the nurses, to the doctor himself, was just so kind, pleasant, and helpful. I only waited maybe two minutes in the waiting room and they explained everything well when I had a question. I will absolutely be recommending this clinic to my friends here in Lawton.

August 11th, 2021 This past week I had the pleasure of being a patient of Dr. Terry Garbacz. What great staff and wonderful doctor! He did a full body scan listened to me as the patient was caring and removed items on my body. His nurse Lori Mullins was sensitive to me as a patient and gave her shots in a timely caring manner. The front staff Stephanie was so upbeat and helpful as well. God Bless these caring professionals! Retired Military wife Mrs. Mary Kapellas

The only doctors office I enjoy going to. His staff is fantastic, personable and keep the office humming .They call you by your name when you enter and get you right in.I know they have my best interest at heart. Garbacz has been treating me for 8 years for various skin cancers and no complications or infections after surgery.

He doesn't really look at the skin condition you have, it's almost like you are wasting him time. I've never seen a Dermatologist not want to find out what a skin condition was. His answer for everything is use Clearasil. I looked at his doctor notes and he lied about what we actually talked about. He said he did a full skin evaluation....hard to do that when I had clothes on and a mask and you stand 6 feet away. He said we talked about skin bleaching.... we certainly did not. Shady lazy doctor, my advise is to not waste your time and money and go to a dermatologist that actually does their job.

Great and friendly staff. Was there to have a few moles on my back checked and the nurse said would you like to have a full body check of all your moles which I did. Dressed in my gown, the Dr. came in looked and the moles on my back naming them all and saying it didn't seem to be any moles to worry about. Check a few on my upper chest and that was the extent of the body check. I asked about a peeling patch on my cheek and he said use a moisturizing cream twice a day.(I already do!). He said he'd call in a RX for a cream. Said "See you in a year" and he was done. I was done! Worst exam I've ever had. Not very thorough and it took all of 5 minutes for that exam. How Dr. Garbacz has been in business for 38 years is a mystery. Putting it mildly, he needs to retire.

I found Dr. Garbacz quite personable . He was understanding of my frustration that the general practitioners at Sheppard Air Force base hospital had been unsuccessfully trying to treat my dermal affliction for a year and was reassuring. He performed a biopsy and correctly diagnosed the infection . He prescribed a treatment that cleared it within 3 weeks.

Horable. Was referred by TRICARE. Was told by two E.R. doctors and my PCM to see a dermatologist. I have some kind of substance my body is producing that fills the folds of skin over the entire body. Worst on scalp, legs, arm pits and groan. The Dr. burst into the room and said he didn't want to look at pictures. Then said, "Alright, let's see this." They had me in a gown so I assumed he meant my groan. Standing about 4' from me, I lifted the gown and and lowered my briefs. He bent over a little and said " I dont see anything. What else?" I sat on a chair to show him my legs. Mind you, half of my thigh from hip to knee is covered so thick no hair is visible and my calf from knee to ankle as well. He looks at a small spot on my knee about 1/4" square and says, "All I see is dry skin." He's was dismissive of my explanation of my conditions and argumentative. Frustrated, I asked if we were through here. He said "Yep, were done here." Then left.
