Dr. Robert Gaston Jr, MD

Patient of Dr Gaston father first then Dr Gaston jr both were the smartest doctors I have ever been to but beware of Dr Gaston nurse unless you follow HER orders you will not get letters or lab work sent to you. She will make sure your prescriptions are delayed and this week SHE sent to her drugstore choice but forgot to tell me. She dripping with sugar in front of Doctor but lookout when he walks away.

His father Gaston Sr, was my grandmothers doctor and at that time us girls all went to Dr Doak in Donelson, as I became an adult and moved back I asked for Gaston Jr and learned not only is he a wonderful Christian man he is a well educated physician with knowledge of every kind of treatments and if he can’t get you well he will send you to someone else that will do extensive labs and tests to help you get well. He has a great sense of humor and compassionate and very under standing, about one’s health issues and concerns. I’m so grateful that Gaston Jr is my PCP and has been for years I will not go to another Dr unless I absolutely have to, but I always follow up with Jr and his nurses are the best and mind you they do get very busy and sometimes delay in getting back or they’ll leave a message so please deal patiently with them, they have a lot of patients to cover for Jr because he a such a great doctor. Dr. Gaston used to provide good service but, now, he barely spends time in the appointment even though they bill for 30-45 minute service. His facial expressions show his annoyance at questions. therefore, no longer feel like he wants to listen to his patients. The office in general is of poor quality. There are too many good caring physician offices that care for their patients to continue to be a patient in this clinic.

Changed dosage but didn't call in new script now can't get refills to NEEDED meds and after 20 messages left over 8 day period still no call back. Got to find a new doctor!!!

I love Dr. Gaston! Known him since I was a kid because my best friend saw him once a month for allergy shots and I got to go with her. Who was to know years later he would become my doctor. He’s the friendliest, most caring physician I know. I trust his word and follow it to a ‘T’. He has never pointed me in the wrong direction. Love his staff too! Good people every way you turn!

Dr. Gaston treats THREE generations of our family. We literally love him for all he has done for us !!!

Dr. Gaston Jr. is a very good doctor. His nurses are a different story. They always hassle me when I need prescriptions. Dr. Gaston told me I would have prescriptions for 6 months after my annual physical, but the nurses always try to make me book an appointment when I need meds. I asked the nurse if there was a way for me to get a message to Dr. Gaston and she said "No Sir." So I guess I have to make an appointment in order to speak with my own physician. The nurses are even worth 2 star

Wonderful Doctor and Staff! Very friendly, caring and professional. I feel very blessed to have a great doctor that I trust.

I really appreciate this doctor. I never had any issues with him.
