Dr. Robert Gennaro, MD

Dr. Gennaro has been my gynecologist for nearly 30 years. He is absolutely the best! Considerate, kind, communicative! He has guided me through several difficult health decisions, and I trust his advice and guidance completely. His office staff is absolutely wonderful as well. I would recommend him to any woman who needs care in the Stamford area.

He's an amazing, attentive, and knowledgeable doctor. I'd trust him with my life, and I do!

Simple The Best

Words can not begin to describe how wonderful a physician Dr Gennaro is. He truly cares about his patients. He is thorough conscientious and will always go the extra mile to make sure his patients receive the absolute best care possible. He returns his own phone calls and will call you just to check up on you to make sure everything is okay. He will never rush into anything without making sure it is in your absolute best interest. Doctors like Dr Gennaro are few and far between he is remarkable

Disgusting bedside manner- what a way to ruin someone's experience. He should be ashamed of himself and his front desk - gross. not professional at all.

Dr. Gennaro is extremely unprofessional. He lacks compassion which when you are pregnant and have experienced loss of pregnancy before is something you need most of. When I told him that I was upset after a procedure I had he said "it is your responsibility, I am not your mother and I am not going to go pick you up at your house to come for an appointment". That had nothing to do with my concern about him calling me after a procedure. He is too "tough" and has too much pride and not enough care!

I loved my experience with Dr. Gennaro (and the others in the practice). Dr. Gennaro delivered my son. I can see where the negative review came from, Dr. Gennaro will not be for everyone. He does swear a lot and maybe lacks some bedside manner, but his sense of humor was exactly what I needed. If I had any complications I can see being frustrated with him seeming like he was in a rush, but everything went smoothly for me and I appreciated his attitude.

Terrible. He's been in the business for "30+ years" he says, so why hasn't he learned bedside manner? He is very unprofessional and swears during our meetings, he rushes through the ultrasounds, is one-minded and DOESN'T LET YOU TALK. He rolled his eyes at me when I asked him some questions about my upcoming birth. He is a MAN. I am a woman and know my body. He talks down to you, and its a shame he ruined such a beautiful moment in my life.

Dr. Gennaro is THE best OBGYN I have ever encountered! I am picky when it comes to medical care for me & my family and he definitely makes the cut. His sense of humor & laid back personality help to put any woman (pregnant or not), at ease & makes them feel comfortable, yet well cared for and not overly stressed. When he delivered my first baby the nurses at the hospital said, If it were anyone but Gennaro, you would have had a C-Section. I am demanding him for the delivery of Baby 2 in April
