Dr. Robert Gerger, DO

As a diabetic, he never once in 17 years asked to see my feet.

I went to this doctor for about a year when my previous doctor moved out of the area. He is a nice man, seems caring, and doesn't rush you. His staff is not very warm, they act like you are bothering them. I told him I suspected that I might have diabetes and he just looked at me and said "you don't have diabetes". No testing. The next time, I was there, I mentioned it again. He again told me that I didn't have diabetes and I had to practically beg him to test me before he finally agreed. The day of my test, my blood sugar was 275!! He came into the room and said I must not have fasted as I was instructed to (8 hours). I I hadn't eaten in 13 hours! That was the last time I went to him.

I’ve been patient for over 10 yrs started with his dad. Office staff is rude and has no idea what is going on. They refused to see me since I have not been in the office for 2 yrs but he has seen me in the er. They could care less that I was sick. Never go to this doctor

I have been going to this doctor for 19 years. Everytime he walks into that room he listens to what my issues are. He explains why he orders the test why he feels it's not what I feel it is.. this doctor is non par for my insurance and i am gladly paying out of pocket for good solid service. I have other specialists in my network that don't give the time and care he takes each visit. When I go in now many of his staff safe newer and never have them been rude to me.

The staff is very rude and unprofessional. I called to get blood results and the girl was very rude with me as if i bothered her by calling. Then the office manager calls me back and screams at me saying i was rude. She should be fired and be bagging groceries not running an office with that attitude. I would never recommend tbis office to anyone. Also dr gerger tries to get you out of there as fas as possible without explaing things STAY AWAY

Very good doc. Appreciate his ability to get to the point for visits that are routine. (I hate being stuck in doctors office forever when I am just there for routine visit). Thus said, he is highly dependable, will go above and beyond when a patient has serious condition. I was hospitalized in a system not covered by my insurance (and would not cover his visitation there), but he still visited/ called daily to ensure that I was well taken care of. Only bad-few non-med office staff really horrid

In this office they put staff convenience above patient welfare. Only had 5 days worth of prescriptions left asked them to call in refill and they said they do not do that anymore. Called the drug company and they faxed them 4 times asking to okay refills. Finally after two weeks someone wrote on the fax that it was rejected. Said it takes to long to call in prescriptions, only takes a few minutes to fax them. They could get with the times and do it electronically as do most other doctors.

Dr Gerger is good, but his office staff is RUDE and downright nasty. I will not recommend him to anyone because of his staff.

IF YOUR TAKING YOUR LOVED ONES TO THIS PRACTICE YOU PROBABLY DON'T REALLY LOVE THEM. STAFF IS RUNNING OFFICE, ONE IN PARTICULAR.

Very responsive to patients requests and needs . Not a fancy office but clean , friendly and helpful staff . Dr Berger takes the time to listen and explain .

Informal and caring demeanor; leaves examining room before questions can be addressed so catch him while he is there in the room in the beginning; very down to earth doctor

Staff is rude and has no clue what they are doing. Can't get prescription refilled without going into see the Dr every 3 months. The Dr doesn't care about the patients.rushes through.

I wish I could give Dr. Gerger and his staff a negative rating and it still appear on here. His office staff is very rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to cooperate with their patiences. They code things improperly even when a specific code is required by insurance. Then they are unwilling to cooperate with patience to correct billing issues. One numerous occasions scripts have been written incorrectly. It also takes a great deal of effort to contact the office for refills.
