Horrible experience.

The worst psychiatrist I have ever dealt with. He will nickel and dime you. That's all he cares about. He charges you $300 when you have your 5 minute appointment with him on the phone. I had an appointment with him on a Friday at 8:30am. I texted on Weds morning stating that I will no longer be needing his services. He calls me on Thursday at 9:07am to remind me that we have an appointment on Friday at 8:30am. I told him I texted him on Weds and I'm going a different route. He said he never got it. I find that hard to believe because we have communicated via text many times. I explained to him that I will no longer be needing his services. He said no problem and wished me luck. As soon as I get off the phone noticed my credit card was charged $75. I immediately called him back and asked him what that charge is for? He said it is a cancellation charge. He says since he never received my text and I didn't call him within 24 hours I'm going to be charged the $75 cancellation fee.

If I could leave a zero I would. Used horrible references with a 12 year old. Spent 25 minutes with “dr” Hamm and still was charged the full amount. Merry Christmas Dr Hamm

I have always been hesitant to seek help. Dr Hamm put that aside. He listens. I expected judgment, but found compassion and help with my anxiety.

I wish I had seen him sooner. As others have stated…he really is interested in caring for his patients.

I found Dr. Hamm to be a compassionate and caring physician. He listened to my concerns about medications and constructed a plan to alleviate my debilitating fears. He has been a God sent.

Caring and supportive physician. Only physician who has helped my son with the correct diagnosis and treatment.

Dr Hamm is a Psychiatrist; he prescribes medications. He is not a counselor. As part of your full treatment, I recommend also regular visits with a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who will spend an hour with you and sort through your problems with you. Dr Hamm could spend a few extra minutes learning about you as a person and what your triggers are, but he does his job and will refer you to LCSW therapeutic services if that's not already part of your regimen. I appreciate and trust his services.

I had a 2 wk bout with anxiety/panic attacks last mo. I was looking for help sorting out past issues (child abuse, death of a spouse, cancer diagnosis, son murdered 3 mo's ago, past anxiety issues with panic attacks). What I got was a 25 min wait, then 5 minutes of a nonchalant detached attitude that was adamant about prescribing more and or stronger meds than I already have. I was just as adamant that I wanted off meds. I was then referred for counseling with someone else and $150 bill.
