I would recommend Dr. Hardi to all. I have been going to him for 30 years. My parents also went to him, along with my sisters. I trust him completely with my health. He has always been very professional and kind. I trust him with my life.

Like stepping back in time
I was assigned to Dr. Hardi because my Primary Care Provider left the practice. I soon learned why he was the only doctor available. He has a clear disdain for women. I saw him for my annual physical and he charged me for two visits because, as I discovered after receiving a bill, "we discussed another issue" (obesity) at the same visit. In what world is that not part of annual physical? By the way, his chief advice about obesity was to eat green apples because they have less sugar and to eat smaller portions. I wouldn't go back to see Dr. Hardi if I was dying and he was the only one on earth with the cure. I'd rather die in peace.

Caring, best all-around physician
Dr Hardi is thorough and caring. He considers all aspects of patient care and health. He takes appropriate time to allow for dialogue -- never seems rushed. I have been under his care for several years and have always been pleased with his responsiveness.

An Outstanding Doctor
Dr. Hardi has been my doctor for more than 30 years. He has always been professional, understanding, caring, and an outstanding diagnostician. Thirty years ago, he helped me regain my health after 2 years of being passed from doctor to doctor with no answers and no empathy. He stepped in, figured out the correct diagnosis and brought me back from a place where I had given up any hope of being well again. He took over as my GP, and helped my husband get proper care for colon cancer 20 years later - thanks to Dr. Hardi my husband is alive and well today. Dr. Hardi was the first to pick up on my lung cancer 3 years ago and again oversaw my care and choice of necessary specialists. I have no doubt that he is the reason that both of us are healthy today at 70 years of age. He has always given top-flight referrals to other specialists, when necessary; but more than that - he stays involved - making sure the care is top-notch. I hate to think where I would be if he was not my doctor.

A patient's view
I've been treated by Dr. Hardi for many years and have always been very satisfied with his solutions to my gastroenterological issues. He has also successfully treated me for other medical issues which has saved me time, money, and the inconvenience of having to see other doctors. In sum,, I would recommend him to anyone.

Professional and knowledgeable
I had my second colonoscopy with Dr Hardi yesterday. He, as usual, was very good at talking with me prior and after the procedure. He showed me the photos from the procedure and explained what he saw. The ambulatory center was also spotless and the staff professional.

Best GI doctor ever
I have been to 6 different GI doctors before finding Dr. Hardi. He has been the first to actually help and listen to me. After my very first consultation appointment he did a colonoscopy the very next day. His since of urgency and caring nature meant a lot to me as I’ve been dealing with this for a while trying to find someone to help. He immediately helped me, and he doesn’t make you feel like you have to prove you’re actually sick, (like other doctors do) he just believes you and listens and genuinely wants to help people. If you’re looking for a GI doctor, I would 100% recommend Dr. Hardi.

I have been seeing Dr. Hardi for 30 years for gastrointestinal issues (initially pregnancy-related reflux). He removed a malignant polyp in 2006 that would have rapidly become stage 4 colon cancer but for his skill. I trust his competence and judgment completely and will continue to see him as long as he is practicing.

Aside from his prickly demeanor, careless monitoring of reckless amounts of prescribed drugs, and bad bedside manner, Dr Hardi sexually assaulted me in 2006, and then tried to convince me that I was confusing him with another doctor. Needless to say I stopped seeing him immediately. He's currently under investigation and I testified against him. The man should never be allowed to practice medicine ever again, anywhere. You've been warned.

My experience with Dr. Hardi was horrible. He mistreated me during the exam and I was traumatized. I immediately formally complained, but nothing was done.

Poor bedside manner. After endoscopy, made no attempt to explain results or findings. Spends the majority of office visit taking notes in silence before offering a prescription for slightly stronger versions of drugs I can get over the counter. Brushes off questions and offers no explanation for any of his pronouncements even when pressed. Just seems like somebody on the verge of retirement who doesn't care about his patients.

I find Dr. Hardi's manner gentle and reassuring. In my case he ordered a test at the end of my first visit after having taken the time to get a detailed medical history from me in person. When it comes to discussing gross symptoms I'd otherwise hate to discuss with anyone, he's easy to talk to. I feel confident that I'm in the right hands.

Poor bedside manner, almost condescending. When a scope turned up no obvious causes for my condition, he just shrugged and told me to take heartburn meds as needed . . . a pharmacist would have been as useful and proactive. He didn't recommend even a course of treatment.
