First visit I did not have to wait long after appointment time. He explained Ernie’s for knee pain after examining C-ray in office. I opted for gel but as he suggested it only lasted 3 months. So I inquired about total knee replacement. It has not been nearly as painful as I thought. At end of week 1 I was able to get around by myself with no help End of week 2 I can walk unassisted. Key is- I’m doing the exercises. He sends an app out that describes them and keeps track of progress. Excellent.

I faced constant left knee pain for 8 years getting a steroid injection every 3 months into my knee. I finally decided to have a TKR. My family physician highly recommended Dr.Howell. I had TKR less than 3 weeks ago and i feel great! My knee is sore but no longer in constant pain. I very highly recommend Dr. Howell!!!
