Irresponsible to patients when not in the office. Very poor communicator when not in the office. Forget trying to get a prescription refill in a timely manner. I hope he finds the strength to improve on these factors.

I don't understand the negative reviews of Dr. Hyzy and they have compelled me to write a good review because, well, because he deserves one. I like to be treated with professionalism and care. I would much rather have an intellegent, knowledgeable, competent, straight forward doctor than a sweet bedside manner type. Dr. Hyzy does speak quickly but he has always answered my questions and given me insight to my illness. I would recommend him to anyone.

Appointments are rushed like you're just another customer coming through the door. He is knowledgeable but he goes strictly by the numbers and shows little interest in my personal needs. Never asked how I was managing my disease or gave suggestions for how to make things better for myself. If doctors were paid for bedside manner he would be making minimum wage. I need a lung transplant but he never recommended transplant evaluation. He always said I was not a good candidate. Can't recommend him.

I went to this doctor for "asthma". The diagnosis was expensive. I wanted to get in the MI PestisideI Notification Registry run by the Mi Dept. of Agric. but it required a doctor's certificate. He would not sign the the doctor's certificate nor give me a reason. The Patient Complaint process not fair instead it was the fox guarding the hen house. I was taking care of four babies and carrying around twins in heavy equipment/ strapping in van throughout the day; he said No to HC request.
