Dr Jackson is Amazing!
I have seen Dr Jackson on several occasions. I had C3-C7 vertebra surgery which turned out perfect in March of 2021. Most recently I had L3 L4 L5 S1 Hemilaminectomy, osteotomy, fusion with instrumentation, with a revision of a previous laminectomy with hardware. Previous to my lumbar surgery I was always in severe pain, muscle spasms to lower extremities. I was taking Norco daily and getting Caudal injections to my lower spine every 3 months thru my pain management Doctor. I could not walk long distances. Two months after my spinal surgery I was hiking the Grand Canyon with my husband. It felt so great to be active again. This August 2024 we rode our Harley Davidson Motorcycle from Anaheim California to Sturgis South Dakota for a two-week vacation. This Sept 2024 we are riding back out to Reno for Street Vibrations. I feel amazing and I truly am 'FOREVER GRATEFUL' for you and all you have done for me. You have given me my life back! I thank you and my husband thanks you!

Dr. Jackson is the best
Dr. Jackson gave me my life back. He was so attentive to my spinal issues and explained everything that needed to be done to properly correct the problem. During my 3 month recovery from my spinal surgery I did everything that Dr. Jackson told me to do. I just had my follow up visit and concur with Dr. Jackson that my surgery and healing was 100% successful. No more pain and no more restrictions.

The best possible experience.
Dr Jackson and his staff are terrific. They gave me clear and easy to understand information about what procedures I needed as well as the risks involved. After the discectomy my pain was gone immediately. During the follow up visits he genuinely cared about my recovery and I was offered multiple therapeutic options. If you have the opportunity to see Dr Jackson do not hesitate to do so.

Dr review of surgery
It’s a little bit of a waiting game to get an appointment with dr.Jackson, especially when you’re in pain but I found it worth the wait. I find Dr. Jackson very pleasant to meet with and of course very knowledgeable in his field. I finally got to my surgery date and were meet with the most professional surgery staff, of course after meeting with the anesthesiologist, I don’t remember anything till post surgery. Dr. Jackson did his magic and for the first time, in over four years, I didn’t have any back or nerve pain ! I highly recommend Dr. Jackson to anyone who is contemplating having any type of neurological surgery.

Doctor Jackson was respectful & easy to talk with
Dr. Jackson and his PA Darren were respectful and easy to talk with. They cared about us and took time to answer all of our questions. Dr. Jackson performed brain surgery in 2020 to remove a tumor and provide biopsy. We would recommend him and his staff.

The Best...thorough, patient and kind.
Dr. Jackson was my neurosurgeon for successful C6-C7 cervical diskectomy fusion in 2003. Thank goodness he was still in the area this year to do my cervical C4-5, C5-6 disc replacements. I am pain free thanks to successful surgery. Twelve weeks recovery and I'm back on the tennis courts, pain free. I appreciate that Dr. Jackson takes the time to review pros/cons of surgery and patiently answers all my questions to relieve anxiety and manage expectations. I hope I don't have to see him again but I'm fortunate he's been available to help me...twice.

Life Altering Brain Surgery
I had the privilege of being treated by Dr. Jackson, a remarkable neurosurgeon at OC Neurosurgical Associates. Two days after a seizure, he performed brain surgery to remove a 5cm tumor from my skull, ultimately saving my life. I am also grateful to the anesthesiologist who shared a personal experience showing me a scar from a surgery Dr. Jackson had performed on him years before. This act of reassurance further calmed my nerves and strengthened my trust. His compassionate demeanor immediately put me at ease. He took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly explained the procedure. His expertise and professionalism were evident throughout the entire process. The surgery itself was nothing short of miraculous and Dr. Jackson's precision and skill were truly remarkable. If you are in need of neurosurgical care, I highly recommend him.

If I could give 1000 stars I would. Dr. Jackson saved my mom from the most excruciating pain disabling her from walking and living her life. He gave my mom the power to walk again. My mom was suffering from sciatica pain caused by herniated disc also narrowing of her spinal canal. We tried so many different treatment routes before we’ve realized nothing was helping. We were lucky enough to be referred to our miracle maker dr Jackson by my mom’s cardiologist. Dr Jackson and his amazing team including his amazing, caring and knowledgeable PA were able to schedule my mom’s surgery as soon as possible. The very next day after her surgery my mom was taken out of the bed and she burst in to happy tears once she put her foot down on the floor and not having pain. We are forever grateful for Dr Jackson and his amazing team.

Wrong diagnose & not paying much attention on MRI
Very bad doctor. I suggest not seeing him. He misdiagnosed my cancer as a benign tumor, and suggested me a bad treatment. After the treatment which hurt more on my nerve and I wasn't told any problem of the treatment. At the same time my cancer got worse, and I had more symptoms. When I want to see him again to see my MRI, they only allowed me to see him two month later. And when I finally meet him again, he didn't even look carefully of my MRI, didn't even noticed the tumor start on my brain. I saw another doctor which let me have tumor check, and told me I was already stage 4 tumor and had a surgery which remove the tumor from my brain. Now I'm having chemo treatment. I could be not as bad as now if Dr. Jackson suggest me to have a biopsy instead just told me a wrong problem and had a wrong treatment. That's why I don't suggest this doctor and suggest people to see a different one.

Saved my life and removed tumor
Dr. Jackson operated on me last month after I had a seizure. Doctors found a stage four tumor in my brain. After two surgeries and hemorrhaging he was able to remove a big chunk of the tumor. A very difficult procedure as I have really prominent veins. He removed a big piece of my tumor and put me in a good spot to win this war.

Dr. Jackson and his MA are terrific. The front desk staff is abhorrent. RUDE, condescending, inpatient and mean. I was literally told that I need to schedule other emergency appointments around Dr. Jackson's availability. Umm...it doesn't work that way. If I need an urgent MRI of an arm or leg, I'm not going to schedule that around when my neurosurgeon is available to check my shunt. Especially when the MA can do it just fine. No, I can't wait 15 days to have an emergency MRI of a suspected ruptured tendon. Why be so rude to your patients??? We are more than just neuro patients and injuries occur to other parts of our bodies that we cannot predict or schedule around. Sorry not sorry. Dr. Jackson, please retrain your office staff and teach them some manners and customer service skills. Please.

Love Dr. Jackson. He offered different approaches to my fractured spine and promoted least invasive first. I only wish I had gone to him when I first injured my back as I know I wouldn’t have the other problems that I have. He is an amazing surgeon and the only one that I would trust with my spine. His skill level far exceeds any others available

This is simply about the coordinator. Dr. Jackson seems like a wonderful DR so far. The coordinator is dismissive. She will belittle you and shut you down for not knowing costs and codes for procedures. She will expect you to know her job definition and if you ask for help she will talk over you and scold you. She's been there for 15 years and knows insurance great according to other staff. Terrible at communicating with patients though. At least in my experience
