Dr. Robert Marcus, MD

Both urgent care and Northside Hospital agreed that I was severely mistreated by Dr. Marcus. I went with my husband, Dr. Louis Herskowitz, to see Dr. Marcus for a lung distress problem. I was told to return to my car and have a video chat with the Doctor. My husband explained I had tested negative for Covid but needed my lungs to be checked. I was told I needed to go to our car. we left and went to Urgent care in Sandy Springs I was told I had double Pneumonia and needed to go immediately to Hospital. I was admitted at Northside Hospital

The doctor and the general office staff seem to have checked out of their responsibilities. It is difficult for me to get an appointment, I feel talked down to by Dr. Marcus, at times it has been impossible to reach the office staff for refills or general questions. The phone simply rings, and then disconnects. As a patient, I feel, ignored and neglected.Requests for referrals have been very difficult to achieve.

i WAS NEW TO MEDICARE AND SAW THIS DR MARCUS FOR YEARS! IF YOU ASK ANYTHING OUTSIDE A ROUTINE EXAM ABOUT YOUR HEALTH ...IT WILL NOT BE COVERED!!! AS EXPLAINED IT IS THE DR.'S DISCRETION. NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING BEFORE. I WILL BE CHANGING IMMEDIATELY AFTER WASTING 15-20 HRS ON PHONE CALLS. PIEDMONT BILLING AGREED WITH ME HOW WOULD A PATIENT NEW TO MEDICARE EVEN KNOW THIS. THEY WROTE OFF $570.00 PLUS WHAT MEDICARE PAID FOR A ROUTINE EXAM. I STILL OWE $300.00 TO QUEST LABS BECAUSE OF THIS ! ALL ROUTINE LABS AND EXAM........I DO HAVE MEDICARE AND AARP SUPPLEMENT. OUT OF COST SHOULD HAVE BEEN ZERO
