Nerve damage from surgery
I would not recommend this surgeon. I now have permanent nerve damage from having surgery with him. Find someone more competent! I’m a professional and would never recommend him.

Awesome Doctor!!!
I broke my foot and was referred to Dr. Mills by a friend. It wasn't an easy experience for me but Dr. Mills took the time to explain the issue and the healing process. He was forthright, honest and explained things in a way that I could fully understand what was going on with my foot. I looked forward to seeing him and his staff at Holy Cross Orthopedics. Everyone is professional and efficient. If you have foot or ankle issues, Dr. Mills is an awesome doctor and I would recommend him to anyone.

Definitely not even to an enemy
Definitely not even to an enemy he let his ego get in the way he left me in tears by the time I got to the elevator made me feel like I was finished with my ankle seemed annoyed that I was only coming for a opinion and had been operated by somebody else before he in so many words said the guy did a lousy job. I have had nine orthopedic surgeries and never experienced a guy like this thought I had seen it all

I felt so educated and confident in Dr. Mills. The negative reviews i saw when I decided to write this are a bit of a shocker. I would recommend him and his practice highly and with vigor. In fact, the entire staff made me feel confident I was in great and competent company.

The visit started out well; I was impressed that he was very knowledgeable. He explained my x-rays thoroughly. A nurse was present. When we were close to the end of the examination, I asked a simple, question about wearing a certain pair of my shoes. At that point he became arrogant and condescending, and began TALKING TO THE NURSE ABOUT ME, AS IF I WASN'T THERE. I can only describe his remarks as dismissive and condescending. He began describing me in terms I can only describe as a troublesome patient (which I am not). Not wanting a confrontation, I "dummied up" and just "yessed" him for the rest of the time. When I left his office, I am sure my blood pressure was sky high. The rest of the day, I re-played our interaction in my mind. My partner could tell there was something eating at me. I have a return appointment, but I may cancel. Dr. Mills is very competent in his field, but why put oneself through the trauma of his rudeness?

Excellent surgeon. Performed 3 foot surgeries on me, two bunion repairs and one elective hardware removal. All went very well. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled foot surgeon.

Although I have no doubt in Dr. Mill's expertise, I would be HIGHLY unlikely to recommend anyone I like to go to him. I had to wait extra long for an appointment, with a broken foot, which was mostly healed by the time I was squeezed in there. I bought an ortho shoe there & had to 'find' my way out of the office, with no follow up. Communication is IMPOSSIBLE. His assistant is overwhelmed, she does not /cannot return emails, phone calls. Trying to get my records from them and find another Dr.

Excellent doctor. Horrible, horrible staff. They treat patients like garbage, with total disregard for patient status or well being. Hate to lose this doctor's services, but I am looking for another capable orthopedic person to take his place, as I am not willing to further endure the irreverent, careless and thoughtless behavior of the non-medical staff at this facility.

Truly a special and caring doctor. Previously saw a podiatrist who wanted to operate on my foot (would have been significant surgery). Dr. Mills spent so much time explaining to me exactly what my problem was and how to treat it without surgery. Truly best of the best!!!

Dr. Mills last week performed a triple arthrodesis on my husband. After our very first office visit, we could tell he was the perfect professional to rebuild my husband's foot. He was thorough in his explanation and we completely understood the procedure and recovery expectations. He was highly recommended by other well respected cardiologists that know him and we are grateful that it all worked out. I'm looking forward to my husband's recovery as he has been in excruciating pain for years.

Terrible misdiagnosis all I needed were orthotics that got rid of all my symptoms. He refused to answer all my questions. He is much better with females but terrible with my male patients and myself. In my frustrations, I ended up going to Delray Beach to a place called “Good Feet” they solved all my problems instantly. I got off my crutches and a knee brace walked out. He insisted I use crutches so my left foot would not hit the ground. I fell at home more damage. Good Feet fixed all miracle.

Dr Mills is the best orthopedist in so many ways: warm, comforting, personable and highly skilled. He performed a triple arthrodesis on my right foot in March 2017 and I am already much better than before surgery and I'm only 20 weeks post-op. My complete recovery takes 52 weeks, but with Dr Mills' skill and knowledge, I am well on my way. No wonder his waiting room is packed with patients. Great surgeons like him are rare. If you want the best, Dr Mills is the one for you.
