I brought my son in 8 years ago to petition this doctor for autism testing because the school he was at (Carriage Hill Elementary) said he needed an autism diagnosis to get an IEP and services from them. I'm not American and didn't know that the school was supposed test him themselves. Dr. Naegele heard me, smirked as he watched my 7 year old play with a toy clone trooper, asked my son exactly what the name of the specific backpack the trooper was wearing, to which my son accurately replied because as someone with autism that's what he does, knows everything about his obsession.. and then Dr. Naegele told me that's the schools' job to diagnose him. Which is wrong. Dr. Naegele appeared content to prescribe medicine without outsourcing for accurate diagnoses which indicates to me as a consumer, that he is more interested in doing as little medical work as possible but with the highest fiscal gains. Please be aware of his policies and practice before hiring him for your needs.

Seeing Dr. Naegele was quite the experience, one my son, husband and I now relay with amazement.Spare yourself the misery of being one of Dr Naegele's patients. He was extremely arrogant, angry and controlling. Our son gave us permission to talk to the Dr, he said we needed to come in for an appointment. Before completing tests he had prescribed beta-blockers and heartburn medicine for a thin, fit young man who's never had heartburn and who Dr N. said didn't have heart problems just stress. We arrived expecting a non-confrontational meeting within 5 mins. the Dr started making angry off the wall accusations, and behaved oddly, shouting down the hall that he needed a chaperone when I calmly asked him not to be condescending. He got worse, shouting, accusing and racing down the hall to be ahead shouting at us as we calmly left. After the Dr's tantrum my son decided to go to a different doctor who gave him the diagnosis of inflammation of the ribs which is very common and requires no medication.

Dr. Naegele wanted my white-japanese baby tested for downs because she is white with Asian eyes. I told him I would do a second opinion with the other Dr, our regular Dr. In 2 weeks per his request. Our Dr had time off for Christmas so we had to see naegele. He called me twice and scheduled an appointment with the hospital before the 2 weeks were up. He talked in circles, never gave us a straight answer, told us to Google the name of the clinic he referred us too, and would stare at her.

Dr Naegele and nurse Kelly have been very kind over the years however his immediate staff can be rude and seem put out to do their job, very unfortunate because I will obtain medical services elsewhere due to the other nurses unprofessional behavior.
