Wouldn’t recommend
Dr. Percy was dismissive, condescending, and does not communicate care plans or strategy. My PCP had ordered an x-ray, which came out normal. Dr. Percy ordered a CT scan. His nurse told me everything was normal in a manner as if the job was done and that was it. When I asked her what the next step was, she seemed surprised, annoyed, and didn’t understand why normal test results were not a satisfying answer. I still can’t breathe. I’m still coughing up phlegm every day. When I asked her if that was a normal state, she said no. I told her in that case that I would like to pursue an answer. She was nonchalant and stated that she only believed from there they could do a bronchoscopy. I told her I didn’t care what had to be done. I just needed to know the next steps. She said in an irritated manner that she would have to get back with Dr. Percy and then let me know. She still has not responded. I have now decided to pursue real medical attention elsewhere.

Dr Percy and his staff I rate 5 ?? Professional friendly caring individuals. You don't wait all day to see him he's astute listening to what you're describing & telling him while examining you. He answers all my questions and addresses my concerns. Dr. Percy & his staff "saved my life" I have nothing but praise for him. People like to talk about their personal life w these dr's instead of focusing on the problem at hand. Please take into consideration how many stories they hear in one day. Keep it kind & respectful be mindful of them. Let your review be about their service not how much he didn't talk to you. Ask yourselves honestly how was your attitude dealing with the staff during your visit. They're human too!

Dr Percy was professional knowledgeable he took the time to answer questions I told him why I was there and he and his patient professional staff took very good care of me. I have no complaints. When you're as sick as I was who has time for small talk? He listened and heard what I told him at which point he proceeded to give me medical care. I give him and his staff 5 STARS

He has a dry personality but is an excellent doctor. If you are sick in the hospital he sees you everyday. He's going to figure out what is wrong with you.He has an incredible work ethic. a dying breed for sure.

Dr. Percy was my mom's attending physician when she was transferred to Mobile Infirmary. Bedside manner is horrible. I have worked in healthcare for over 25 years and some MDs or APPs may not have the best "people" skills but he is rude and uncaring not only to his peers, patient's family but also the other clinical staff caring for the patient. There were several times he not only ignored questions from the family but also the nursing staff. Quality of care complaints were filed with CMS & MI

Everyone says he is an excellent doctor, but..... and it's true. He would make an excellent physician for a coma patient, someone on a ventilator, or on high doses of pain meds that couldn't hear him. He's dismissive, condescending, and gives no appearance of caring about the patient at all. He speaks over and around them as if they are furniture, and if you're loved one is ill and you dare ask him a question, he will make sure that he answers you in such a rude way you won't ask again.
