Dr. Robert Pietropaoli, MD

I was often referred to as 'sweetie'. This was in reference to a telephone call from him about a diagnosis of cancer, where he unprofessionally referred to personal issues he was experiencing at the time. He then called me a week later, supposedly about a test I had and he wanted to go over with me, only that was not why he contacted me. He contacted me because he was mad that 'I upset his secretary' by telling her I was cancelling an upcoming appointment and did not want to reschedule or see him again. He proceeded to yell and scream on the phone telling me in the end that 'I DON'T LIKE HEARING ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL PROBLEMS EITHER!'. I reported him to the URMC Patient Relations and filed a formal complaint. I have since found a much better more professional and caring Primary Care Physician.

Dr pietropaoli is more than a Dr he is someone you can confide in.He is very through when you have an appt with him.He cares about his patients and he office staff is just as awesome and professional as he is.He and his office are very organized and clean.He stays in contact with his patients to make sure they are getting the appropriate care.i cannot ask for a better dr that is understanding and eally cares for patients I would never want to go another Dr .
