Truly cares...saved my life!
Dr. Portadin took my situation seriously when my regular (different practice) OBGYN couldnt be bothered to even call me with bloodwork results. He had me come into his office every 2 to 3 days while they monitored my condition and then determined I was having an ectopic pregnancy and sent me to the ER where his colleagues treated me. He followed up often and made sure I was ok. I could have literally died from my previous doctor's lack of care and Dr. Portadin cared enough during and after my experience. I was not a patient of his until I called his office crying that I desparately needed to find a new OBGYN and he treated me like I had been going to him for years. I am so grateful to him....I owe him my life!

I was not looking forward to this visit after reading reviews of this physician. I was expecting the worst. However, to my surprise the receptionists, nurses and physician were very professional and caring. It was a pleasant experience and I don’t say that often cause I dread these type of exams. I will definitely come back.

It' time for Dr. Portadin to retire. He's only interested in his retirement fund at this point. He's arrogant and rude. He'll talk right over you and not listen to your concerns. He doesn't even seem to like women. Horrible!! Find a female doctor, ladies.

I bled for 2 days after a standard pelvic exam. He asked me when I was expecting my next period as if he knew I was going to bleed badly. I tried to tell him about symptoms I was experiencing but he seemed totally disinterested. The woman in the office who set my appointment asked me If I was sure I wanted to see Dr Portadin as if she was steering me to another dr in the practice. I wish I had realized.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Terrible bedside manner, condescending, demanded unnecessary tests and consults, and ultimately provided the wrong diagnosis. I would not allow this man to care for OR perform surgery on my dog; and I don't even have one. I am grateful for this doctor for one reason only- for inspiring me to see out another specialist where I was given exceptional treatment. An overall rating of 2.5 stars is a compliment for Dr. Portadin.

He was rough when examining me, spoke down to me, and treated me like I was an idiot. He didn't listen to my concerns or take the time to explain things. Terrible bedside manner. Unfortunately, he works in a larger practice, so if you like any of the other doctors, you are at risk for Dr. Portadin delivering your child. I thought this wouldn't be a big deal, but I now know YOU MUST SWITCH practices rather than risk this man being part of one of the most important days of your life.
