I sent my daughter to Dr. Prestiano for a serious gastrointestinal problem that has not yet been diagnosed. He never examined her and made reference to a possible gall bladder stone from an ultrasound test from the hospital. He said he'd have to check that out in May meanwhile it is early February! He told her he's not her therapist and cut her off every time she tried to speak. Then he walked out. Don't walk, run from his office! Seeking a real doctor that will actually check her symptoms

Perforated my colon during a routine colonoscopy. Received one return phone call over a 3 day period and was then instructed to take tylenol for the pain and to go to the ER if the problems persist. Insisted that if I was working that my colon could not have been perforated. After my ER visit and subsequent 7 day hospital stay including major surgery he showed absolutely no concern or remorse and no follow up phone calls were ever received. Do not use this "physician" under any circumstance.

It was by luck that I met Dr. Prestiano at Hudson Valley Hospital. I was admitted to Hospital after the Emergency Room. Dr. Prestiano was pleasant, informative and made me feel at ease. He was a godsend at a difficult time. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Prestiano's primary concern is to get the patient out of the office as quickly as possible. He showed no interest in my overall health and glossed over my concerns as he rushed me out the door on repeated occasions. Rather than looking for a cause to my issue, he instead focused on throwing medication at me until the symptoms abated, ignoring my claims that the medications were causing uncomfortable side effects.
