Dr. Price made me very comfortable, explained to me what other Dr. did not off my MRI's, to where I understood the results.

Dr. Price is the first neurologist I've actually gone to more than once. In my twenty years of migraines, I've seen numerous doctors (in NYC, LA, and ATL), and I've NEVER returned to see any of those doctors again. I just didn't like them and didn't trust them with my health. Dr. Price was the first neurologist I saw in SLO, and he's now been my neurologist for more than four years. I even followed him when he left the last practice he was in. Dr. Price listens and transcribes notes during visit. If you've ever needed your doctor's notes before, I'm sure you know that many notes have inaccuracies in them. Those inaccuracies can lead to a lot of headaches down the line when you are transferring doctors or if you need insurance authorization. But I know my medical notes are always accurate since Dr. Price does them while I am in the office and he gives me a copy when I leave. Dr. Price is a matter-of-fact kind of doctor. He answers questions clearly and thoughtfully.

I had a very positive experience at appointment with Dr. Price. I found him to be very knowledgable and thorough. He spent a long time with me and reviewed my previous tests in detail. He explained things well and asked if I had questions. He gave me a printed sheet with visit summary and a plan of action. He is also an advocate of exercise. He displayed expertise in neurology.

Run for your life, do NOT make an appointment with Dr Robert Price! A complete waste of time & money. Dismissive, does not listen to patient, does not answer patient's questions, is unfamiliar with patient's MRI SCANS & history of symptoms in my file in front of him. Dr Price bizarrely speaks into his dictation headset not speaking to or look at eyes of patient, instead Dr Price does his dictation for paperwork follow up during the patient's visit! HOW IS THIS DR LICENSED? Dr Price's first comment to me was "This is the last type of case I want to handle!" He suggested my symptoms were caused my SLEEP APNEA, not the demyelination of nerve sheaths that show on my brain & spine in MRI SCANS. Dr Price would not answer my ?'s : 1) What is causing the demyelination; 2) Are spine disc irregularities, Covid long haul, past Mono or virus, or mast cell activation aggrevating my condition?; 3) Is it safe to get a Covid Booster vaccine when initial shots seem to cause flare up of symptoms?

Highly recommend Dr. Price. Extremely professional, explained what was going to be happening through out the office visit and immediately explained the results he saw and answered my questions throughly.

Although Dr Price is quite intimidating his assistant Chris is caring and helpful and I do feel like I’m getting the best possible care.
