Excellent doctor
When I was diagnosed with wet macula, and was told I would have to have shots in my eye, I just about fainted. They put me in touch with Dr. Prinzi, who put me at ease and discussed treatment plans with me. Surprisingly, I barely felt the shot. It really upset me when I found out he was leaving the practice and I couldn't find where he had gone. Well I finally found his new practice, and I started seeing him there. I do not feel anything when I get my injection. He has an excellent nurse in Megan. Dr. Prinzi disusses succinctly everything that is going on within my eyes. I feel confident with my treatment under him. I came to find out that a lot of people followed him to his new practice from his previous one. That's how much he is liked.

I’ve been seeing and getting shots from Dr. Prinzi for the past six years. Getting my shots every five weeks from him is like a piece of cake. I have never once felt anything I actually look forward to getting my shots because they were so painless. When I left his office in April and they called me a week later and told me that he wasn’t going to be there the next month and couldn’t or wouldn’t tell me where he was going, a sense of fear came over my body. Just like that being told I had to see someone new was not an easy thing to swallow when you trust in someone so much as I trusted in him. I’m not saying it tasteful, but he had to leave for whatever the reason, but it wasn’t an easy take, and the new doctor that I’m seeing my first shot from him and I felt it. But wherever he’s going, I wish him luck and his patience are going to have one hell of a doctor.

He’s awesome. I’m trying to find out where he went since he left coastal eye group. All he said was he wasn’t going far and to look for big announcement. I’m still looking for that!

Would like to find out where he went
I've had Dr. Prinzi for the whole time I was diagnosed with AMD 3 years ago. Even though wait times were sometimes long when he was taking over for someone else who left, he always gave me the time needed. His staff at the Myrtle Beach office was friendlier than the Little River office.

He’s a great doctor
I have injections in my eye. My previous doctor always hit blood vessels and I COULD FEEL the needle going into my eye. With Dr, Prinzi none of this happened. So sad he’s leaving Little River.

Great Doctor
On a recent trip to Bryson City NC, to ride the Polar Express, I started seeing flashes in right eye. Read about it and contacted Mountain View Eye Center, Brandy Hicks. Received appointment the same day. Outstanding service! She took her time and located a retinal perforation. Returned home to Myrtle Beach next day and went to Coastal Eye Group. Walked in and was seen the next day after showing referral letter from Dr. Hicks. Was examined and Dr. Prinzi reconfirmed the retinal perforation. Again, another outstanding doctor. He took his time and immediately discussed and performed laser surgery. I was scared to death but he made the procedure painless and was very fast and efficient. Followed up with him today and was given the thumbs up ????. Future visits are scheduled to insure everything heals properly. I want to highly recommend both Dr. Hicks and Dr. Prinzi as true professionals who are very skilled. Both practices went above and beyond, saving my sight. Thank you, well done!

Waited 1 hour and 50 minutes for initial visit.
Received diagnosis and prescriptions with poor explanation and communication. Waited 1 hour and 40 minutes at second appointment. The only compassion I felt was from a very caring nurse.
