During my appointment, Dr. Sanford did not listen, constantly interrupted, lacked compassion, visibly rolled his eyes several times while I was explaining my symptoms as if he didn't believe me, did not explain anything well at all, and as I was leaving he literally threw my paperwork at the front desk attendant. The front desk staff was rude, also showed no compassion, were uninviting and unfriendly and almost seemed irritable that they had to work. Additionally, I was surprised at how dirty the room was. The only positive comment I have is that I did not need to wait long. I try to extend people grace and consideration, however after reading other negative reviews, I can honestly say there is truth in them all. I can only hope that these reviews prevent other people from undergoing the same treatment that myself and others have experienced during a critical time of needing help.

Dr. Sanford is intense, and may project that his is aloof. He is not. He's "old school" and takes a lot of what is happening to you not only seriously, but personally.

One of the worst Doctor's I have ever dealt with. He was not concerned in the least about how I felt. Talked over me when I tried to answer his questions and had me in tears. Asked me what I thought I had...excuse me, that's why I'm here so you can tell me. Did not return my call when I asked for an interpretation of my blood results so after over a month I am still in excruciating pain and still don't know what I have. Not going back.

Misdiagnosed with Fibromyalgia and benign hypermobility. Over a year later found out I have a genetic connective tissue disorder (Ehlers-Danlos syndrome) POTS, and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. If I didn't seek out another doctor I would still have the wrong diagnosis. I was also treated poorly during my initial appointment, berated for not knowing my symptoms, and cried when he left the room. Horrible.

Terrible. Ended il being diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder years later after this provider told me it was fibromyalgia and that I needed to work out. I could've died. What a quack.
