Dr. Robert Schuman, MD

Dr. Schuman has been my GI for 20 years. His expertise, empathy & thoroughness are exceptional. Dr. Schuman gets my highest rating A+++

Dr. Schuman is an incredible compassionate physician. He has such a strong work ethic, is very knowledge and he has excellent personable skills. He takes his time to explain medical terminology and always goes above and beyond to make others feel comfortable. I trust Dr. Schuman with my life, my fathers life and my friends lives. He is the best!

I've been Dr. Schuman's patient for many years and feel he is losing his edge. There are 2 concerns. I have Crohn's and called about whether I needed a colonoscopy and told me I was past due. Other good doctor's I use follow my care and contact me when things are needed. Much worse, his office shifted to a different prep which was ordered for me. I have stage 4 kidney disease and my nephrologist was alarmed that this was prescribed and when I called his office I was told that this was done for all patients. This is unsound and dangerous. It is up to the ordering doctor to prevent patients from getting medications that are contraindicated for a medical condition. I also have found his post-precedure processes rushed and find it difficult to communicate with him. Again, my other doctors provide portals to view the care and to communicate with the doctor.

Waited in my car over 20 minutes before a room was ready for me. (This is during the pandemic). Then came into the office and did not see the doctor till an hour after my appointment time. This was after I asked several staff members if he runs on time and was assured he does!!! Honesty would have been appreciated! Would recommend this doctor but for the extremely long wait for a 5 minute visit.

Routine visit. Dr was friendly and understood my needs. Offered good advice on how to get me the best care I need.

Dr. Schuman is always pleasant, he actively listens to your concerns and take the time to speak to you and to find solutions to rectify your issues. Great Doc. Would definitely recommend him.

My visit today was excellent. Staff is courteous and friendly with a personal touch you don't always see these days. Dr. Schuman was approachable and down to earth. He was a good listener as well as very knowledgeable in his specialty. I felt comfortable and unrushed even though they were a new office for me. I definitely recommend Dr. Schuman and his office.

Dr Schuman is so professional and knowledgeable. Everyone in my family as well as our extended family see him. He is timely and never rushes through an appointment. He is very thorough and answers all your questions. We recommend him to everyone we know. In today’s world, it’s difficult to find a doctor like Dr. Schuman. He truly cares for his patients.

My most recent visit was a follow up and all went well. Dr Schuman asks all the right questions and my digestive health has improved since I have been coming here. He has a wonderful bedside manner and makes you feel cared for as a patient. He and his staff have been friendly, caring and great! His P.A. Julie is also awesome.

Dr Schuman has excellent assessment and communication skills. He presented a complete plan of care that was easy to understand. He has kind office staff and an excellent phlebotomist that helped my daughter get through a traumatic stick quickly I would recommend his practice in a heartbeat
