Total Knee Replacement
Dr. Sherson replaced my right knee 3 years ago. I couldn’t be happier with the care I received. Both Dr. Shershon and his staff are fantastic. I had to have my other knee replaced 9 weeks ago. I’m pain free and able to enjoy being active now !

Partial Knee Replacement
Dr. Sershon was easy to schedule an appointment with and was thorough and surgery went very smooth. His team was incredibly responsive to all my questions pre and post surgery. The surgery center was fabulous as well. Could not have asked for a better experience.

Two partials - Sarasota tennis singles title!
I explained that before my significant knee pain (bone-on-bone) in both knees, that I was a competitive singles tennis player and avid skier and that my goal was to return to both. I interviewed four potential surgeons, two of which recommended a full knee replacement. When I pressed one of them as to why, I received a response of 'I just don't do a lot of partials'. Dr. Shershon explained the pros and cons of full vs. partial replacement and that I was a candidate for partial (medial) replacements. Further, Dr. Shershon was highly recommended by other active adults and competitive athletes who were able to return to sports.I play a couple of hours of tennis per day (clay courts) and recently won the Sarasota Florida 4.5 singles title - beating several players more than twenty years younger than me. Dr. Shershon didn't just allow me to walk again without pain, he returned me to a life where I can enjoy and thrive in sport. I cannot thank him or recommend him highly enough.

Partial knee replacement!
Dr Sershon was my “second opinion” as I was already scheduled for a total knee replacement. After reviewing my X-rays, he was confident that I only needed a partial knee replacement. I was relieved and so glad I had sought a more skilled surgeon to perform a less invasive procedure. I was a bit surprised that my post op visit was not sooner but trusted Dr Sershon’s method. I used the Force app for all concerns and questions. The staff were so prompt with answers and information to relieve any of my worries no matter how small. That was a great service to me! I will be scheduling my other knee procedure with Dr Sershon as well.

2d Hip Replacement
My 2d hip replacement, again with Robert Sershon, the medical support team at Anderson Orthopaedic, and now the medical support team at Harborside. A great experience across the board: Dr. Sershon did another superb job with 2d hip replacement; the medical team at AOC supported me throughout, answered all my questions; and Harborside is a modern facility, pre- and post-op were well staffed and I was well cared for; I was home after surgery in just a few hours. The Force app is terrific -- I can do my PT exercises from home, and I am always connected to support at AOC through the Force messaging platform. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Sershon and his team at AOC for restoring to me the gift of simple, pain-free mobility.

Hip Hip Hooray
He was great. But waiting 4 months to follow up with him seems a bit of extreme. You get to see his PA but can't make an appointment until after 4 weeks, so can even SCHEDULE until after 4 weeks pass. The office staff tends to ask the same ? over and over again. The app they have you use is very canned responses. Not really any empathy when it comes to the AFTER care. But hey insurance has already paid for the Hip so what does Anderson Orthopaedic care? That exactly how it feels

I highly recommend Dr. Sershon for total knee replacement surgery. Two other surgeons rejected me for surgery, as they felt my knees were beyond help. Dr. Sershon fixed my knees. I am able to now walk and move without pain.

Dr. Robert Sershon replaced my hip and 2 partial knees in a period of 6 months. He has given me my life back. He minimizes tissue damage and expedites your recovery. Dr. Sershon's assistant Annie Davis and my care team were always available to answer my questions and help me with my recovery. The staff at Anderson Clinic are kind and helpful. Choosing Dr. Sershon to do my surgery's has been the right decision for my life. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Sershon and Osteoarthritis hip surgery
I don't think I could have had a better Orthopedist than Dr. Sherson. Before the surgery he explained everything that was going to happen, and also the pre-surgery actions I needed to take. His team was fantastic, especially the head team member, Hannah. I was walking shortly after the surgery and I think the entire process including surgery took a half day and I was home. My only regret was that I didn't get the surgery earlier as the pain before the operation was really awful. After the surgery the pain from the surgery disappeared fairly quickly. I highly recommend Dr. Sherson.

Great knee replacement
I love my new knee. Dr. Sershon recommended and performed a kinematic joint replacement. I recovered my mobility even faster than my first knee replacement which was on the other knee. I had 90 percent range of motion within two weeks and full range of motion with one month. I was walking without a cane in about 2 weeks. Key lessons to future knee replacement patients.1. DO YOUR REHAB!!!. The doctor cannot do this for you and it is a huge part of your success.2. GET YOUR LEG IN SHAPE BEFORE THE SURGERY!!! Do this as much as you can within your pain tolerance. The better your knee is before the surgery, the easier rehab will be after the surgery.3. For me,I love working out in a pool, walking and running without much load on my knee has helped a lot both prior to and after the surgery. I use the hot tub to warm up my knees for about 10 minutes and do my stretching prior to my pool workout. I hope you find this helpful.
