Needs to Embrace Technology
Referred by my father’s Gastro, we have an appointment made, and pre-check-in info is sent through MyChart which I completed ahead of the appointment. Rearrange my day and my father‘s to get to the appointment only to be told that I need to complete another patient form and duplicate all the information that the doctor has access to through MyChart because “he likes to have his own paperwork“ and won’t see my father unless I complete it. My dad has 14 different doctors, the only thing that keeps me sane and organized is MyChart centralizing all of his information and keeping me from having to do endless paperwork every time we see someone new in the UMASS system. I would have had to look at my chart anyway to review my father’s results and medical notes so there’s no earthly reason why I should waste my time and energy doing something just to suit his preferences. It’s 2025, embrace technology and stop wasting your patient’s time with unnecessary paperwork.

Dr shelton
I just want to start off by saying I'm not thrilled with the direction of our health care system but with everyone booking months out dr shelton got me right in not once but twice within the same month I was having issues and he really is a nice guy I've also seen him on another occasion and my experience was just as good one thing I can say is if you don't NEED surgery he's not one to convince you otherwise makes him very trustworthy in my opinion
