I had a 10 mm aneurysm in my right communicating artery. I’m 57 years old and was diagnosed at Yale. The doctors there were lovely but presented a therapy I wasn’t comfortable with. I googled best neurosurgical hospitals in U.S. when I got home and NY Presbyterian came out near the top of the pack. I emailed them writing exactly what my diagnosis was and Dr. Soloman contacted me immediately. He saved my life. I went back to work as an ER nurse after 6 weeks. I would have gone back sooner but he wouldn’t let me. I have since moved to NC and the team with Dr Soloman (Janet and Lynette) have been so awesome. They forwarded everything to my new neurosurgeon making it a seamless transition. The diagnosis is life changing and really scary, do your homework and get the best care you can. I’m really glad I did.

I was diagnosed with approximately a year ago a 7 mm aneurysm in my right communicative artery after meeting with a neurosurgeon at another facility I decided to reach out to Dr. Solomon he explains to me that he was very confident that I would be fine and put my mind at ease . I scheduled the craniotomy for three weeks later and was comfortable with his confidence in doing so.
