Shot
My first visit went great. I have arthritis in my knee Dr Travis gave me a cortizone shot which lasted the 3 months up to my 2nd appointment. 2nd appointment I was told I wasn't a candidate for surgery because of my lung problems. I received my 2nd shot 2 hours after the shot pain was gone. The office help was very friendly. Ty Dr Travis for letting me live without pain

I meet Travis Through Workmncomp he was my examiner first visit was three minutes never touch my knee never looked at my knee don’t even know if my knee was swollen but agreed with my surgeon that I need my physical therapy, how can a doctor with no appointment or visitation can agree with the surgeon that hasn’t release me to work contradict himself and sign off and say he believes I can return to work, my surgeon say I need more therapy, why would he put himself in this position for a few dollars, when someone can write reviews or even put a Complaint in with the doctors associations the surgeon Association by not living up to the oath to be honest that he took to start his career

I’ve never been to a doctor before and walked out of an office crying. My appointment was at 8:30 and I was out at 8:40. Worst bedside manor ever. I’ve been having knee pain and was told I had arthritis and was given a cortisone shot. Three weeks later I was in so much pain I was crying myself to sleep. Went back to Dr. Travis and he greeted me with, “are we doing a cortisone shot or knee surgery”? Said he didn’t recommend surgery yet and couldn’t give me another injection until October and walked out! I wish I read the reviews here because I’m not the only one feeling bad about his bedside manor! I’m going to another doctor ASAP as I’m in so much pain I can’t live this way until October....and I’m sure there’s a doctor that actually cares about his patients!

I had exceptional treatment and am happy with my surgery outcome. Everything went very well, including the therapy, whose instructions were very helpful. The therapist made sure I didn't overdue it. I am happy I had my surgery.

***Please share** I am not sure why Dr. Robert Travis is still practicing medicine. He completely destroyed my husband's career. He is unable to go back to being a Firefighter, EMT, and First Responder as a result of Dr. Robert Travis. He has done this to multiple patients and has had multiple lawsuits against him, yet McLaren Lapeer still allows him to practice. He isn't trained on the most up to date procedures that could have prevented the over aggressive procedure he performed that perma

The worst bed side manner he is always in a hurry to leave the room & doesn't take the time to explain anything. He did surgery on my shoulder and it was the biggest mistake I've ever done. He's only available 1 day a week in his office.

Dr Travis has taken care of my father and daughter. He fixed my dad's hip fx. He is 92 and walking without a cane again. He repaired my daughters ACL and she is playing soccer again as good as before her injury. I am seeing him for my arthritic knee . He is doing steroid injections. He tells it like it is and gets the job done
