He clearly is an expert in this field. Dr W is professional, very knowledgeable, completely up to date on surgical techniques for lung surgery, a great communicator and very kind. I am so happy he is my doctor. His staff that I met were great, specifically the PA that worked with me after surgery for pain relief.

Dr Wiechmann and his team are unbelievably good at what they do! As a 41 year old I had an enlarged ascending aorta(5.9 cm) which was a result of being born with a bicuspid aortic valve(replaced at 18). They replaced the aorta and the care from them and the hospital staff was phenomenal. Within 3 weeks after surgery, I feel better than when I went in other than the sternum needing a little time to heal. I would highly recommend Dr Wiechmann and his team to anyone!
