Dr. Robert Yant, DPM

I was referred to this podiatrist by my primary care and had x-rays done by Precision Imagining. When I called to confirm my appointment and if they had the x-rays I was told they did have them. Of course when I visited their office I was told they did not have the x-rays and that they wanted to re x-ray my foot and of course charge my insurance company. I declined and rescheduled. When I returned on Wed for my 1:30 appointment I waited over an hour and finally spoke with 2 other people in the waiting for the same Dr Yant with 1:30 appointments THAT DAY ??? I then left. Horrible experience and 3 hours out of my life I'll never got back. I found another podiatrist

Dr. Yant is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He knows what to do to help you get better fast.I had plantar fasciitis in both feet 20 years ago that he fixed. Four years on hard tile floors and I have it again. Dr. Yant to the rescue yet again.

Dr. Yant was the 4th podiatrist I had gone to about an issue with my foot. His knowledge and experience stood out and he was able to zero in on the root of my problem right off the bat, which others had not. It gave me confidence in his care. Dr. Yant was able to diagnose and treat a tear in my tendon, avoiding a total tear which would require surgery and a long rehab. I am now well and able to return to an active life without pain. I highly recommend Dr. Yant.

Dr. Yant was recommended to me by my son, who also is a patient. The staff was great (thanks Andrea for the Sirius radio station recommendation, I love The Blend!)! Dr. Yant was incredibly easy to talk to and I felt like I had been a patient of his for years! Very helpful!

After waiting for 45 minutes for my first visit, I asked how much longer the wait would be to see the doctor. ("10 minutes or 2 hours?") The staff dismissed me with, "We can't tell you, he's on his usual schedule." If they were polite, they would have told me he was running late when I arrived. They didn't even afford me the courtesy of an advance phone call to save me and others from wasting time in the small, dank, crowded lobby. Only 2 of 10 people in the completely packed lobby were wearing masks, and none of the staff I saw was wearing a mask. My first impression is that the practice is selfish, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. I said goodbye and left without seeing the doctor. I am confident there are other practices who care more about their patients and their patients' time.

Dr. Yant was absolutely wonderful, he saved me from having a 2nd surgery. I can't say enough about Dr. Yant.

I would give them 5-stars if I could. I made an appointment with this doctor two weeks ago after carefully making sure that they were mask compliant and I could wait in my car until called. Yesterday I walked in to a full waiting room and a staff that had no masks on. I asked thje person checking me in and she didn't answer me. I took the paperwork to the car to fill out and when I went back in I asked again about the lack of masks. The woan spoke to me VERY condesceningly and told me that the mask mandate was removed by our mayor so they didn't have to wear them. (Her statement was incorrect as our mayor said we were to still follow the CDC guidelines. I told her I was not happy about being exposed to the virus and told her I would wait in the car to be called for my appointment. However after 1 1/2 HOURS of waiting, I left. THEY NEVER CALLED ME! I am 67 years old and waited in my car, in the muggy heat, for an hour and a half. There is no damn excuse for this.

I have been a patient of Dr. Yant for a few years now and recently received the PRP procedure for my ankle injury. My experience has always been great for my office visits, follow up and medical support. I highly recommend this office!

I have the highest regard for Dr. Yant and his staff. About a year ago I ruptured my peroneal tendon so severely it separated by 2 cm and tore two ligaments in my ankle while golfing. After assessing my situation, Dr. Yant performed a PRP procedure that has enabled me to return to golf with absolutely no pain. Thought my golf was over, but thanks to Dr. Yant, I have returned to living to an active life again, including being able to play golf without limitation. Can’t thank Doc. enough. Staff always helpful and courteous.

I recently finished my recovery from a torn Achille tendon. Dr Yant performed the PRP procedure in the beginning of May. I persevered the knee scooter for two week and another four weeks in the boot. I followed his instructions exactly as told. I am very happy to report the tear is fully recovered and I have resumed all of my activities. His office staff was terrific, empathetic and knowledgeable and made my visits very pleasant. I highly recommend the PRP procedure if that is the direction you are considering over surgery.

An MRI indicated I had a ruptured plantar fascitis ligament on my left foot after having fun line dancing, but it was on carpet! I wore a boot for months with no healing. Dr. Yant recommended PRP therapy and it was amazing! After 2 weeks I was able to walk again with no pain; after 1 month I was able to wear my shoes again, and after 2 months I was able to get back to line dancing again! Dr Yant has the miracle procedure to heal fast with no further pain! Thankyou so much!

Dr. Yant went above and beyond any doctor that I have seen for my feet in over 20 years of seeing different doctors. He truly cares about his patients and his staff is Extremely Courteous and Kind and Caring!!! He has fixed something that I have been dealing with my whole life!!!! He's the ONLY PODIATRY DOCTOR I would ever trust in this area!!!!!

I had two problems taken care of by Dr. Yant: 1)I had a ruptured left achilles tendon (mri) which was treated with PRP (stem cell treatment) and although the aftercare is not especially easy, 3 months later one would not know anything was wrong with the Achilles; and 2) a plantar fasciitis in 2017 and with instructions and treatment from Dr. Yant that problem was fixed and no longer bothers me. Both issues have been resolved and I recommend Dr. Yank as a caring and quality professional.

Dr. Yant is a very competent podiatrist. I have trusted him to provide services to me for decades. He and his staff members are professional yet compassionate. He is extremely good at taking away pain. I would recommend him to anyone without reservation.

I can't say enough about Dr. Yant and his staff. Excellent treatment from both. Back in the 1980's he fixed my heal spurs on both feet. The heal spurs have never come back! Now after many years I am back with a 2 torn tendons in my foot which has caused me such pain that I could barely walk without tears in my eyes. Dr. Yant suggested the PRP (stem-cell treatment) and I am absolutely amazed that the pain is completely gone. Which means the PRP worked! Just thank you, thank you for your help!

The staff is great and Dr yant is excellent. He ensures you understand the prognosis and treatment.

I tore a tendon in the top of my right foot and was dreading surgery. Dr. Yant recommended PRP (platelet rich plasma) treatment instead of surgery. I initially had no idea how that worked, but he explained it in detail, I followed his directions and it worked wonderfully. My tendon has now healed, and I am back to normal. The recovery time was probably half of what it would have been had I elected surgery. Dr. Yant is awesome.

I had a fracture and a torn ligament in my left foot. I had 2 options: 1) surgery - causing trauma to my foot. The healing process would have been painful and long. 2) Dr. Yant suggested a procedure called PRP (platelet rich plasma injection) an office treatment. I am currently in the healing process. I tolerated the injection fairly well. After two days I did not require pain meds. I am happy that I chose this procedure and recommend it as an alternative to surgery.

I first visited Dr. Yant in such terrible pain, that I was barely able to walk. His knowledge and pursuit of up to date medical findings, has enabled me to regain my ability to walk without pain. I had 3 surgeries, including the PRP procedure , which was like a miracle. He is attentive and knowledgeable in his field and has an excellent support staff . They are kind and professional, and have all been with him for years. No turnover, which speaks volumes for the whole office.
