Very hateful, didn't know how to do his job. As we arrived and were waiting in the exam room , he then walked into the room and said " I don't even know why i'm seeing you. i don't even know why you're here, these nurses don't even know what they're doing" he was just extremely hateful and made my patient feel like complete CRAP! DON'T RECOMMEND

Had 4 kidney stone procedures done by this doctor. All for just one stone. He placed a stent WITHOUT doing anything to rid me of the same stone. After talking to urologists in Roswell, Alamogordo and Lubbock, they all were shocked that Labayen placed a stent without doing anything. Dr. Labayen told me he was done, nothing else he can do. He left it up to me to find a urologist to do a surgery to remove this one stone that Labayen failed to remove. After an exhaustive search, I finally had to resort to going to Lubbock UMC. The urologist I saw in Lubbock gives me more information, explains things better. Plus he dismisses Labayens recommendation for a percutaneous nephrolithotomy. The doctor in Lubbock tells me that the urology staff there CAN remove the kidney stone without surgery. I would not advise anyone to seek Dr. Labayen. Plus, he will do a procedure on you on a friday, then fly to Argentina for two weeks making you suffer if you need a urologist for an emergency.
