I left my one appointment with Dr. Tepper practically in tears. I had come in for a simple check-up when she became fixated on my low heart rate (high 40s resting rate; I'm an athlete), told me that I was unhealthy, not eating enough, and I should stop exercising until my resting heart rate was higher. She used scare tactics to convince me (telling me that women get admitted to inpatient eating disorder programs with higher heart rates than mine), and lectured at me rather than listening to me.

Does not seem very up to date on medicine--repeatedly said something that has come out as untrue in the past few years. Doesn't listen to patients concerns, continued to recommend a type of medication patient has had bad reaction to in past and is trying to avoid.
